अग्रवाल ने बताया कि ऋषिकेश-नीलकंठ महादेव रोपवे परियोजना के निर्माण हेतु ग्राम पुंडरासू उदयपुर तल्ला तहसील यमकेश्वर एवं ग्राम तोली पट्टी उदयपुर तल्ला-एक तहसील यमकेश्वर में भूमि का चयन करते हुए आवास विभाग के पक्ष में हस्तांतरण की स्वीकृति प्रदान की गई है।

अग्रवाल ने बताया कि यह भूमि एक रूपये प्रति वार्षिक दर से 99 वर्ष के पट्टे पर दिये जाने का प्रस्ताव पर उनके द्वारा अनुमोदन प्रदान किया गया है। कहा कि यह प्रतिप्रतीक्षित योजना जिसकी मांग लंबे समय से की जा रही थी। श्रद्धालुओं की भावनाओं एवं सहूलियत के दृष्टिगत रोपवे परियोजना शीघ्र धरातल पर उतरेगी। अग्रवाल ने कहा कि इससे निश्चित रूप से धार्मिक पर्यटन में इजाफा होगा। स्थानीय लोगों को रोजगार मिलेगा। जिससे उनकी आर्थिकी में सुधार आएगा।
