देहरादून। प्रदेश की विषम भौगोलिक परिस्थितियों एवं अन्य कारणों को दृष्टिगत रखते हुये उच्च शिक्षण संस्थानों में प्रवेश पंजीकरण की तिथि को बढ़ा दिया गया है। प्रवेश से वंचित छात्र-छात्राएं आगामी 20 सितम्बर तक उच्च शिक्षण संस्थानों में प्रवेश ले सकेंगे। इसके लिये विभागीय अधिकारियों को समर्थ पोर्टल खोलने के निर्देश दे दिये गये है।

सूबे के उच्च शिक्षा मंत्री डॉ. धन सिंह रावत ने बताया कि उच्च शिक्षा विभाग के अंतर्गत राज्य विश्वविद्यालय परिसरों एवं उनसे सम्बद्ध निजी एवं राजकीय महाविद्यालयों में स्नातक व परास्नातक कक्षाओं में प्रवेश के लिये ऑनलाइन पंजीकरण की तिथि को विस्तारित कर 20 सितम्बर कर दिया है। प्रवेश से वंचित छात्र-छात्राएं अब निर्धारित तिथि तक समर्थ पोर्टल पर अपना पंजीकरण करा सकेंगे और उच्च शिक्षण संस्थानों में स्नातक व परास्नातक कक्षआों में प्रवेश ले सकेंगे। इस संबंध में शासन स्तर से शासनादेश जारी कर दिया गया है। उन्होंने बताया कि स्नातक एवं परास्नातक प्रथम सेमेस्टर तथा तृतीय सेमेस्टर में ऑनलाइन पंजीकरण की तिथि 17 सितम्बर निर्धारित की गई है, 19 सितम्बर तक महाविद्यालयों में प्रवेश प्रक्रिया पूरी की जायेगी जबकि 20 सितम्बर तक प्रवेश शुल्क जमा किया जायेगा। उच्च शिक्षा में प्रवेश के लिये यह छात्र-छात्राओं के पास अंतिम अवसर होगा। इस संबंध में कुमाऊं विश्वविद्यालय नैनीताल, श्रीदेव सुमन विश्वविद्यालय टिहरी तथा सोबन सिंह जीना विश्वविद्यालय अल्मोड़ा सहित विभागीय अधिकारियों को निर्देश दे दिये गये हैं।

डॉ. रावत ने बताया कि अबतक राज्य के कुमाऊं विश्वविद्यालय नैनीताल, श्रीदेव सुमन विश्वविद्यालय टिहरी तथा सोबन सिंह जीना विश्वविद्यालय अल्मोड़ा से सम्बद्ध शिक्षण संस्थानों में स्नातक एवं परास्नातक प्रथम सेमेस्टर में प्रवेश हेतु 136830 छात्र-छात्राएं ऑनलाइन पंजीकरण करा चुके हैं तथा 79185 ने प्रवेश ले लिया है। जिसमें स्नातक स्तर पर पंजीकरण कराने वाले छात्रों की कुल संख्या 102823 है तथा परास्नातक स्तर पर 34007 छात्रों ने पंजीकरण कराया है। जबकि स्नातक स्तर पर 64397 तथा परास्नातक स्तर पर 14788 छात्र-छात्राएं प्रवेश ले चुके हैं।
