ऋषिकेश: अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय नर्सिंग सप्ताह के शुभारम्भ के अवसर पर एम्स ऋषिकेश में विभिन्न कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए गए। इस दौरान वक्ताओं ने कहा कि नर्सें अस्पताल की रीढ़ हैं और स्वास्थ्य क्षेत्र में उनकी भूमिका बुनियादी देखभाल से कहीं ज्यादा होती है।

10 मई तक मनाए जा रहे नर्सिंग सप्ताह के शुभारम्भ के दौरान वक्ताओं ने नर्सिंग सेवा को टीम वर्क से की जाने वाली सबसे महत्वपूर्ण सेवा बताया। उद्घाटन कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए संस्थान की कार्यकारी निदेशक प्रो0 मीनू सिंह ने कहा कि इलाज की क्वालिटी बेहतर बनाए रखकर रोगियों की सेवा करना प्रत्येक नर्सिंग स्टाफ का पहला कर्तव्य है। उन्होंने कहा कि स्वास्थ्य क्षेत्र में रोगी की सेवा, उचित और पर्याप्त देखभाल सहित इलाज की क्वालिटी को बनाए रखने की जिम्मेदारी नर्सों पर ही निर्भर होती है। प्रो0 मीनू सिंह ने एम्स की हेली एम्बुलेंस मेडिकल सेवा में नर्सिंग स्टाफ द्वारा किए जा रहे कार्यों की सराहना की। नर्सिंग सेवा के बारे में उन्होंने कहा कि लंबें समय तक कार्य करने के कारण नर्सो को अपने मानसिक स्वास्थ्य को भी स्वस्थ बनाए रखने की जरूरत है। डीन एकेडेमिक प्रो0 जया चतुर्वेदी ने नर्सों को रोगी और डाॅक्टरों के मध्य एक समन्वयक का प्रति रूप बताया। कहा कि रोगियों की सेवा मे नर्सों की कौशलता, भावनात्मक मदद और अथक देखभाल उन्हें अन्य हेल्थ केयर वर्करों से अलग पहिचान दिलाती है।

काॅलेज ऑफ नर्सिंग की प्रिन्सिपल प्रो0 स्मृति अरोड़ा द्वरा नर्सिंग की संस्थापक फ्लोरेंस नाईटिंगेल की सेवाओं को याद कर उनका अनुसरण करने की बात कही गयी। इस अवसर पर मुख्य नर्सिंग अधिकारी रीटा शर्मा ने बताया कि सप्ताह व्यापी कार्यक्रम के तहत इस वर्ष ’अवर नर्सेज, अवर फ्यूचरः केरिंग फाॅर नर्सेंज स्ट्रेंग्थन इकोनाॅमीज’ थीम पर विभिन्न कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जा रहे हैं। उन्होंने नर्सों को अस्पताल की रीढ़ बताते हुए नर्सिंग सप्ताह के आयोजन पर विस्तार पूर्वक प्रकाश डाला। वक्ताओं ने कहा कि नर्सिंग सेवा में मुस्कराहट के साथ हमेशा सकारात्मक सोच रखने से रोगी पर अनुकूल प्रभाव पड़ता है और वह स्वयं को स्वस्थ महसूस करता है।

इससे पूर्व कार्यक्रम के दौरान पहलगाम हमले में मारे गए लोगों को याद कर उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि दी गई। सप्ताह के पहले दिन ’पाॅवर ऑफ स्लीप इन नर्सिेग केयर’ विषय को फोकस कर मनोचिकित्सा विभाग के प्रो0 रवि गुप्ता और पल्मोनरी विभाग के डॉक्टर लोकेश कुमार सैनी द्वारा नर्सिंग अधिकारियों को पर्याप्त नींद लेने और उसके लाभों के बारे में बताया गया।

इस दौरान डीएमएस डाॅ. भारत भूषण, डाॅ. रवि कुमार, डिप्टी नर्सिंग सुपरिन्टेन्डेन्ट जीनू जैकब, पुष्पा रानी, जितेन्द वर्मा, वन्दना, निखिल बी., एसएनओ बिन्दुजा बोस, एएनएस अनुग्रह, आशुतोष, मुकेश कुमार सैनी सहित विभिन्न ए.एन.एस और नर्सिंग अधिकारी मौजूद रहे।
