स्वदेशी नस्ल के पशुधन के संरक्षण विषय पर सिल्वर स्कौच पुरस्कार

दिनांक 15 फरवरी 2025 को स्कौच समुह द्वारा इण्डिया हैबिटेट केन्द्र नई दिल्ली में 100 वें स्कौच सम्मेलन में उत्तराखण्ड पशुधन विकास परिषद, पशुपालन विभाग उत्तराखंड के द्वारा संचालित लिंग वर्गीकृत वीर्य उत्पादन के द्वारा स्वदेशी नस्ल के पशुधन के संरक्षण विषय पर कार्यरत परियोजना को सिल्वर स्कौच पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया।

इस कार्यक्रम को बोर्ड द्वारा वर्ष 2018 में भारत वर्ष में राज्य स्तर पर सर्वप्रथम स्थापित किया गया। इस के कार्यान्वयन से नर पशुओं की संख्या में कमी आ रही है एवं लिंग वर्गीकृत वीर्य से 90% बछिया पैदा हो रही है।इससे स्वदेशी नस्ल के संरक्षण में मदद मिलेगी कृषकों की आय बढेगी दुग्ध उत्पादन में वृध्दि होगी।

इस अवार्ड को डां घनश्याम दत्त जोशी, संयुक्त निदेशक, उत्तराखण्ड पशुधन विकास परिषद प्रशिक्षण केन्द्र पशुलोक ऋषिकेश द्वारा प्राप्त किया गया ।सिल्वर स्कॉच पुरस्कार प्राप्त होने पर सचिव पशुपालन डॉ पुरुषोत्तम, निदेशक डॉ नीरज सिंघल, अपर निदेशक डॉ भूपेन्द्र सिंह जंगपांगी, सीईओ डॉ.राकेश नेगी ने प्रसन्नता व्यक्त करते हुए डॉ जोशी को बधाई दी।
