रुद्रप्रयाग: आजादी के अमृत महोत्सव के अंतर्गत ‘हर घर तिरंगा’ अभियान के तहत आज विकास भवन सभागार रुद्रप्रयाग में सैनिक रक्षा बंधन कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। इस अवसर पर हरियाली स्वायत्त सहकारी समिति रतूड़ा, जै रुद्रनाथ स्वायत्त सहकारी समिति जवाड़ी, प्रगति स्वायत्त सहकारी समिति चंद्रापुरी आदि स्वयं सहायता समूहों की महिलाओं एवं ब्रह्मकुमारी आश्रम की बहनों ने पिरूल और रुद्राक्ष से बनी राखियां (रक्षा सूत्र) सेना के जवानों, पुलिस बल के जवानों तथा कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित अधिकारियों को बांधकर उनके स्वस्थ, सुख और समृद्ध जीवन की कामना की।

कार्यक्रम के दौरान महिलाओं ने स्थानीय उत्पादों से तैयार की गई मिठाई खिलाकर तथा पारंपरिक रक्षा बंधन गीत प्रस्तुत कर उपस्थित सभी को इस पावन पर्व की शुभकामनाएं दीं। बहनों ने अपने गीतों और शुभकामनाओं के माध्यम से देश की सीमाओं की रक्षा में निरंतर तैनात जवानों के प्रति गहरी श्रद्धा और सम्मान व्यक्त किया।
