मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने शुक्रवार को सचिवालय स्थित मीडिया सेंटर में पत्रकारों को संबोधित किया। इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि वर्तमान में उत्तराखण्ड में नगर निकाय क्षेत्र से बाहर ढाई सौ वर्ग मीटर भूमि कोई भी व्यक्ति बिना अनुमति खरीद सकता है, परंतु ऐसा संज्ञान में आया है कि एक ही परिवार में अलग-अलग नामों से भूमि क्रय करके उक्त प्राविधानों का उल्लंघन किया जा रहा है। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि हम इसकी जांच करायेंगे और जिन भी व्यक्तियों ने ऐसा किया है उनकी भूमि राज्य सरकार में निहित की जाएगी।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य में जिन भी व्यक्तियों ने पर्यटन, उद्योग आदि व्यवसायिक गतिविधियों के लिए अनुमति लेकर भूमि क्रय की है, परंतु उस भूमि का उपयोग इस प्रयोजन हेतु नहीं किया, ऐसी जमीनों का विवरण तैयार करा रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि ऐसे लोगों के विरुद्ध भी सख्त कार्यवाही की जायेगी और उनकी जमीनें राज्य सरकार में निहित की जाएगी। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि यह भी संज्ञान में आया है कि भूमि क्रय संबंधी नियमों में वर्ष 2017 में जो बदलाव किए गए थे, उनका परिणाम सकारात्मक नहीं रहा है।उन्होंने कहा कि ऐसे प्राविधानों की समीक्षा की जायेगी और आवश्यक हुआ तो इन प्राविधानों को समाप्त कर दिया जाएगा।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि उत्तराखंड के मूल स्वरूप को बचाने के उद्देश्य से उठाए जा रहे इन कदमों से किसी भी ऐसे व्यक्ति या संस्थाओं को परेशान होने की आवश्यकता नहीं है, जिनके निवेश से उत्तराखंड में पर्यटन, शिक्षा, उद्योग, व्यापार आदि विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में रोजगार सृजन होता है तथा अर्थव्यवस्था सुदृढ़ होती है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि हमारी सरकार भू कानून एवं मूल निवास के मुद्दे को लेकर संवदेनशील है और हम अगले बजट सत्र में उत्तराखंड की भौगोलिक परिस्थितियों के अनुरूप एक वृहद भू कानून लाने हेतु प्रयासरत हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि जिस प्रकार मार्च 2021 से अब तक लंबे समय से चले आ रहे विभिन्न मामलों का निस्तारण हमारी सरकार ने ही किया है, उसी प्रकार मैं, उत्तराखंड की जनता को यह विश्वास दिलाता हूं कि भू कानून के मुद्दे का समाधान भी हमारी सरकार ही करेगी।
