मुख्यमंत्री आवास स्थित मुख्य सेवक सदन में शुक्रवार को हरिद्वार के मंगलौर से आये किसान द्वारा खेतों में सिंचाई हेतु ट्यूबवेल के लिए बिजली का खंभा लगाने का मुख्यमंत्री से अनुरोध किया गया। मुख्यमंत्री ने किसान की समस्या का तत्काल संज्ञान लिया। नतीजा आज के आज ही उसके खेत में विभाग ने बिजली का खंभा लगवा दिया।

सीएम धामी को उदलहेड़ी मंगलौर निवासी किसान संजय सिंह पुत्र बुद्ध सिंह ने भेंट कर अवगत कराया कि उदलहेड़ी मंगलौर बिजलीघर जिला हरिद्वार से उसने अपने खेत में ट्यूबवैल का सिंचाई हेतु पिछले चार महीने से कनेक्शन लिया हुआ है। उसने बताया कि पड़ोसी किसान जिसके खेत में बिजली की 11 हजार की लाईन है वो अपने खेत में बिजली हेतु खम्बा नही लगने दे रहे हैं। कहा कि बिजलीघर से जब भी कोई अधिकारी लाईनमैन को लेकर लाईन खींचने जाते हैं तो इनके विरोध के कारण वापस लौट जाते हैं जिससे पूरे सेक्टर में पानी न आने के कारण फसल सूखने की कगार पर पहुँच रही है।

संजय सिंह ने मुख्यमंत्री से निवेदन किया कि बिजली विभाग के अधिकारियों को निर्देशित किया जाये कि उसके खेत में बिजली लाईन खिंचवा दी जाये जिससे दस से ज्यादा किसानों की फसल नष्ट होने से बच जाएगी।

किसान संजय सिंह की समस्या को गंभीरता से सुनने के बाद मुख्यमंत्री धामी ने ऊर्जा निगम के अधिकारियों को तत्काल कार्रवाई के निर्देश दिए। सीएम के निर्देशों के क्रम में ऊर्जा निगम की ओर से पुलिस व अन्य विभागों के सहयोग से मौके पर खम्बा लगवा दिया गया है।
