देहरादून: नगर निगम देहरादून ने बरसात के कारण छोटे बड़े नालों में जमा कचरे की सफाई करने में जुट गया है। अपर जिलाधिकारी (वि.रा.) केके मिश्रा ने बताया कि निगम ने बड़े नालों की सफाई के लिए जेसीबी मशीन एवं छोटे नालों की सफाई के लिए सफाई कर्मचारियों लगाए गए है। जो नालियों में जमा कचरे की सफाई में जुटे है।
सफाई के दौरान निकले कचरे को एकत्रित करके डंपिंग ग्राउंड ले जाया जा रहा है। ताकि नदी नालों में जलभराव की समस्या न हो। बारिश के कारण कूडा कचरा बहकर निगम के छोटे-बड़े नालों में जगह जगह जमा हो गया है।
नगर निगम के कर्मचारी अब नालों में फंसे कचरे की सफाई में लगे है। निगम के कार्मिकों ने पटेल नगर, पथरी बाग आदि क्षेत्रों में विशेष सफाई अभियान चलाया गया। इस दौरान नाले में फंसा टनों कचरा निकालकर डंपिंग जोन में डिस्पोज किया गया। नगर निगम का सफाई अभियान जारी है।
