उत्तराखंड में पखवाड़े भर से हो रही बारिश-बर्फबारी ने लोगों में नए साल के स्वागत को लेकर उत्साह को चौथे आसमान पर पहुँचा दिया है। उत्तराखंड में लगातार उमड़ रही सैलानियों की भीड़ के मद्देनजर अब उत्तराखंड सरकार भी सैलानियों के जश्न को लेकर पूरी तरह से तैयारियों के मूड में है। यही वजह है कि 31 दिसंबर की देर रात तक सैलानियों को जश्न मनाने के लिए विशेष छूट प्रदान करने की तैयारी की जा रही है।

31 दिसंबर और न्यू ईयर सेलिब्रेशन के लिए उत्तराखंड के पर्यटन स्थलों पर पर्यटकों की भीड़ जुट चुकी है। 5 दिन पहले ही नैनीताल, मसूरी, धनौल्टी, चकराता, चोपता, कौसानी और औली जैसे स्थलों पर होटल और होम स्टे पैक हो चुके हैं। स्थिति ये है कि हिमाचल के मनाली और शिमला में जाम के कारण पर्यटक उत्तराखंड की खूबसूरत वादियों की तरफ रुख कर रहे हैं। यूं भी बीते पखवाड़े भर में दो तीन बार उत्तराखंड के विभिन्न हिल स्टेशनों पर बर्फबारी के कारण पर्यटकों का उत्साह दोगुना है।

अब जबकि नए साल में महज कुछ दिन रह गए हैं तो तमाम हिल स्टेशन्स पर होटल, होम स्टे की बुकिंग हो चुकी है। होटल-रेस्टोरेंट की ओर से भी पर्यटकों के स्वागत के लिए खास इंतजाम किए गए हैं।
नए साल के अवसर पर पर्यटन से जुड़े लोग जैसे होटल मालिक, गाइड, ट्रैवल एजेंसियां, कैब ड्राइवर, और हस्तशिल्प विक्रेता उम्मीद कर रहे हैं कि नए साल का अवसर पर पर्यटकों के बड़ी संख्या में आगमन से उनकी आय में अच्छी खासी वृद्धि होगी।

पर्यटकों के भारी उत्साह और स्थानीय पर्यटन व्यवसायियों की उम्मीदों को देखते हुए राज्य सरकार भी इस खास मौके को भुनाने में जुट गई है। तमाम शहरों में जहां जाम से पर्यटकों को बचाने के लिए इंतजाम किए जा रहे हैं तो पर्यटकों के आनंद को बढ़ाने के लिए राज्य सरकार की ओर से सुरक्षा के भी तमाम कदम उठाए गए हैं। पर्यटक निर्बाध रूप से नए साल का स्वागत कर सकें इसके लिए सरकार 31 दिसंबर और 1 जनवरी को पर्यटकों को देर रात तक जश्न मनाने के लिए छूट देने पर भी काम कर रही है।

पर्यटकों की सुविधा के लिए होटल, रेस्टोरेंट खुले रहेंगे पूरा समय
नववर्ष पर उत्तराखंड में पर्यटकों के उमड़ने की संभावना के बीच सरकार की तरफ से कहा गया है कि पर्यटकों की सुविधा को ध्यान में रखते हुए होटल, रेस्टोरेंट और ढाबे पूरे समय खुले रहेंगे।

नववर्ष और उत्तराखंड के कई स्थानों में बर्फबारी को देखते हुए माना जा रहा है कि पर्यटक काफी संख्या में उत्तराखंड का रुख करेंगे। जिस हिसाब से होटल और होम स्टे की बुकिंग हो रही है, वो भी उत्तराखंड के पर्यटकों से गुलजार रहने का इशारा कर रहा है। उत्तराखंड के श्रम विभाग के उप सचिव शिव विभूति रंजन की ओर से एक आदेश जारी किया गया है। आदेश में कहा गया है कि उत्तराखंड दुकान और स्थापना (रोजगार, विनियमन एवं सेवा शर्त) अधिनियम 2017 के प्राविधानों के अनुसार उत्तराखंड राज्य में रेस्टोरेंट, होटल और ढाबा आदि को सप्ताह में सातों दिन और चौबीसों घंटे खुले रखने की अनुमति प्रदान की गई है। इसके साथ ही उक्त प्रतिष्ठानो में दिन व रात्रि में दोनों पालियों में सभी कर्मकारों को कतिपय शर्तों के अधीन कार्य करनेकी भी अनुमति दी गई है। कहा गया है कि नववर्ष के मौके पर भारी मात्रा में पर्यटक उतराखंड आ रहे हैं। होटल, रेस्टोरेंट और ढाबा मालिकों से अपील की गई है कि वह पर्यटकों की सुविधा का ध्यान रखते हुए पूरे समय अपने प्रतिष्ठान खुले रखें।
