जिलाधिकारी डॉ. मेहरबान सिंह बिष्ट ने जिला मुख्यालय के वीसी रूम में आयोजित बैठक में जिले में समान नागरिक संहिता पोर्टल के क्रियान्वयन तथा पोर्टल पर विवाह के पंजीकरण के साथ ही विभागीय कार्मिकों के विवाह पंजीकरण की प्रगति की समीक्षा की।

जिलाधिकारी ने कहा कि दिनांक 26 मार्च 2010 के बाद विवाहित जिले के सभी नागरिकों का यूसीसी पोर्टल पर पंजीकरण करने के कार्य में तेजी लाए। जिसके लिए नगर पालिका और नगर पंचायतों के अधिशासी अधिकारियों को वार्ड स्तर पर पंजीकरण की कार्यवाही सुनिश्चित करने के साथ ही समस्त अधिशासी अधिकारी दैनिक प्रगति की रिपोर्ट अपर जिलाधिकारी को उपलब्ध कराएं। ग्राम पंचायत स्तर पर यूसीसी के तहत पंजीकरण हेतु ग्राम विकास अधिकारी, सब रजिस्ट्रार, पटवारी और आंगनवाड़ी कार्यकर्त्री की संयुक्त टीम बनाकर गांवों में भेजे जाने और पंजीकरण संख्या बढ़ाने के निर्देश दिए हैं।

जिलाधिकारी डॉ. मेहरबान सिंह बिष्ट ने जनपद के विभिन्न विभागों के अधिकारियों को यूसीसी में बेहतर प्रदर्शन करने और यूसीसी विवाह पंजीकरण की संख्या बढ़ाने के निर्देश देते हुए कहा है कि यूसीसी के प्रति लोगों को जागरूक बनाने और यूसीसी विवाह पंजीकरण कराने के लिए नगर पालिकाओं, नगर पंचायतों और ग्राम पंचायतों तक कार्यक्रम चलाए जांय और इसके लिए अधिकारी स्वयं फील्ड में उतरें। जिलाधिकारी ने यूसीसी पोर्टल पर विवाह पंजीकरण के लिए सीएससी के साथ ही अन्य कार्यकर्ताओं के माध्यम से भी पंजीकरण की सुविधा उपलब्ध कराने के निर्देश भी दिए।
