देहरादून: जिलाधिकारी सविन बंसल ने आज प्रातः काल मसूरी डायवर्जन राजपुर रोड़ से श्री ओम फांउडेशन सार्वजनिक ट्रस्ट एंव राही नेत्रधाम देहरादून के सुपर स्पेस्पेशलिटी आई हॉस्पिटल की पहली अत्याधुनिक मोबााईल आई क्लिनिक को हरीझण्डी दिखाकर रवाना किया।
जिलाधिकारी ने कहा कि यह पहल उत्तराखंड के ग्रामीण और दूरस्थ क्षेत्रों में नेत्र देखभाल सेवाओं तक पहुंच सुनिश्चित करने का एक उत्कृष्ट उदाहरण है। इससे हजारों लोगों की दृष्टि बचाई जा सकती है। उन्होंने कहा कि जहां शासन-प्रशासन राज्य में स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं को विकसित किये जाने हेतु प्रतिबद्ध है।
वहीं सामाजिक संगठनों द्वारा आगे आकर इस प्रकार के प्रयास जहां हमारे ग्रामीण एवं दूरस्थ क्षेत्रों में रहने वाले लोगों के लिए स्वास्थ्य जांच में अहम भूमिका निभाएंगे वहीं लोगों को स्वास्थ्य जांच के प्रति जागरूकता भी बढाएगें। उन्होंने एनजीओ एवं अन्य सामाजिक संगठनों से इस प्रकार के जनमानस के लिए समर्पित होकर कार्य करने के लिए आगे आने अपील की।
