उधमसिंहनगर: मंगलवार को भारी पुलिस बल के साथ प्रशासन की टीम ने 17 मदरसों की जांच शुरू की। मान्यता के बिना घरों में चल रहे अवैध मदरसों को सील किया गया है। उपजिलाधिकारी खटीमा रविन्द्र बिष्ट, तहसीलदार पूजा शर्मा, सीओ भूपेंद्र सिंह धौनी के नेतृत्व में सितारगंज, किच्छा, नानकमत्ता, खटीमा, झनकइया थानों में तैनात पुलिस बल, पीएसी समेत सितारगंज, नानकमत्ता, खटीमा तहसील की राजस्व विभाग की टीम ने मदरसों की चैकिंग अभियान चलाया।

मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी के सख्त निर्देश के बाद उत्तराखंड में अवैध मदरसों के खिलाफ प्रशासन का अभियान जारी है। देहरादून, हरिद्वार, रुड़की, विकासनगर शहरों के साथ-साथ ही उधमसिंहनगर जिले में अवैध मदरसों को सील किया जा रहा है।
विदित हो कि धामी सरकार ने पिछले 15 दिनों में प्रदेशभर में 50 से अधिक मदरसों को सील किया जा चुका है। उधमसिंहगर जिले के सितारगंज में संचालित अवैध मदरसों को सील किया जा रहा है।
