मुख्यमंत्री ने प्रदेशवासियों को दी रक्षाबंधन की शुभकामना

मुख्यमंत्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने प्रदेशवासियों को रक्षाबंधन की बधाई व शुभकामनाएं दी हैं। रक्षा बंधन की पूर्व संध्या पर जारी अपने संदेश में मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि रक्षाबंधन का पावन पर्व भाई-बहन के आपसी स्नेह, विश्वास और कर्त्तव्य का प्रतीक है। उन्होंने कहा कि हमारी समृद्ध, सांस्कृतिक परम्पराओं से जुड़े इस पर्व का ऐतिहासिक महत्व भी है।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि रक्षा बन्धन का पर्व सामाजिक सद्भाव के साथ ही महिलाओं के प्रति आदर एवं सुरक्षा की भावना को भी सुदृढ़ बनाता है। रक्षाबंधन महिलाओं के सम्मान से जुड़ा पर्व भी है। उन्होंने कहा कि महिलाओं के सशक्तिकरण के प्रति हमारा प्रयास निरन्तर जारी है। महिलाओं को सशक्त किए बिना समृद्ध उत्तराखण्ड की कल्पना पूरी नहीं हो सकती है। उन्होंने प्रदेशवासियों से महिलाओं के सशक्तिकरण और उनकी प्रगति के लिए एक आदर्श समाज के निर्माण में सहयोगी बनने की भी अपेक्षा की।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि रक्षाबंधन के अवसर पर प्रदेश की महिलाओं को प्रदेश के अंदर उत्तराखण्ड परिवहन निगम द्वारा संचालित बसों में निःशुल्क यात्रा सुविधा भी प्रदान की गई है।
