मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने गुरुवार को राज्य आपदा परिचालन केंद्र से प्रदेशभर में हुई अतिवृष्टि की समीक्षा करने के बाद मसूरी रोड एवं किमाड़ी क्षेत्र का स्थलीय निरीक्षण किया।
राहत कार्यों के निरीक्षण के दौरान मुख्यमंत्री ने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि मुख्य सड़कों की शीघ्र मरम्मत करते हुए यातायात सामान्य बनाया जाए तथा आवश्यकतानुसार लोगों के आवागमन हेतु वैकल्पिक व्यवस्थाएं तत्काल प्रभाव से सुनिश्चित की जाएं।
मुख्यमंत्री धामी ने निर्देश दिए कि प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में जनजीवन को शीघ्र सामान्य करने के लिए सभी संबंधित विभाग युद्धस्तर पर कार्य करें। सभी प्रभावित परिवारों को आपदा मानकों के अनुसार त्वरित आर्थिक सहायता एवं मूलभूत सेवाएँ उपलब्ध कराई जाएं। निरंतर हो रही वर्षा के दृष्टिगत मुख्यमंत्री ने निर्देश दिया कि जिन क्षेत्रों में आवागमन अवरुद्ध हुआ है, वहाँ प्राथमिकता के आधार पर वैकल्पिक मार्ग एवं राहत शिविर स्थापित किए जाएं।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य सरकार आपदा की इस घड़ी में पूरी संवेदनशीलता के साथ आपदा पीड़ितों के साथ खड़ी है और प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में जनजीवन को जल्द से जल्द सामान्य बनाने के लिए सभी संभव प्रयास किये जा रहे हैं।
इस अवसर पर कैबिनेट मंत्री गणेश जोशी, उपाध्यक्ष आपदा प्रबंधन सलाहकार समिति विनय रोहिल्ला, गढ़वाल कमिश्नर विनय शंकर पांडेय, जिलाधिकारी देहरादून सविन बंसल, एसएसपी अजय सिंह और जिला प्रशासन के अधिकारी मौजूद थे।
