देहरादून: जिलाधिकारी सविन बंसल ने आमजन की सुरक्षा के दृष्टिगत पल्टन बाजार में निरीक्षण के दौरान सीसीटीवी कैमरे लगाने के निर्देश दिए गए थे जिसके लिए जिलाधिकारी धनराशि पूर्व में ही जारी कर दी गई थी, पुलिस विभाग द्वारा चयनित स्थानों पर पूर्व से स्थापित विद्युत पोल एवं अन्य विभागीय पोल पर सीसीटीवी कैमरे लगाने की अनुमति मांगी गई थी।
इसके बाद जिलाधिकारी ने आम जनमानस की सुरक्षा के दृष्टिगत भीड़ नियन्त्रण एवं भीड़ के दौरान भगदड़ की घटनाओं एवं दैवीय आपदाओं अथवा अन्य किसी आकस्मिक घटनाओं की सतत् निगरानी एवं नियन्त्रित किए जाने के दृष्टिगत पल्टन बाजार से धामावाला तक 15 स्थानों पर 22 सी०सी०टी०वी० कैमरे सहित सहवर्ती उपकरणों, पीए सिस्टम, फाईबर कनेक्टिविटी को अधिष्ठापित किये जाने के कार्य हेतु पल्टन बाजार क्षेत्र में पूर्व से अधिष्ठापित स्ट्रीट लाईट के पोलों तथा अन्य विभागीय पोलो पर आपदा प्रबन्धन अधिनियम-2005 के अधीन प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए सी०सी०टी०वी० कैमरे सहित सहवर्ती उपकरणों, पीए सिस्टम, फाईबर कनेक्टिविटी अधिष्ठापित किए जाने की अनुमति प्रदान करने के आदेश जारी किये हैं।
