देहरादून। उत्तराखंड में भारी बारिश को लेकर मौसम विभाग ने गुरुवार और शुक्रवार के लिए गंभीर चेतावनी जारी की है। प्रदेश के 11 जिलों में भारी बारिश की संभावना जताई गई है, जिसके चलते प्रशासन ने एहतियाती कदम उठाए हैं। मौसम विभाग ने कई जिलों में रेड और ऑरेंज अलर्ट जारी किया है।
मौसम विज्ञान केंद्र के वैज्ञानिक रोहित थपलियाल ने जानकारी दी है कि देहरादून, पौड़ी, हरिद्वार, नैनीताल, चंपावत, बागेश्वर और यूएसनगर जिलों में भारी बारिश के कारण रेड अलर्ट जारी किया गया है। वहीं, उत्तरकाशी, चमोली, रुद्रप्रयाग और पिथौरागढ़ जिलों के लिए ऑरेंज अलर्ट जारी किया गया है।
भारी बारिश के मद्देनजर एहतियाती उपायों के तहत देहरादून, नैनीताल, चंपावत और बागेश्वर के स्कूलों में छुट्टी घोषित कर दी गई है। मौसम विभाग की चेतावनी के बाद राज्य आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण ने संबंधित जिलों के जिलाधिकारियों और अधिकारियों को सतर्क रहने और हर स्थिति से निपटने के लिए तैयार रहने के निर्देश दिए हैं।
