महिलाओं के कार्य को और सशक्त बनाने के लिए राष्ट्रीय आजीविका मिशन के तहत लगभग 15 लाख रुपये की लागत से प्रोसेसिंग यूनिट भी स्थापित की गई है। वर्तमान में इस ग्रोथ सेंटर में 10 महिलाएं नियमित रूप से कार्य कर रही हैं, जिससे उनकी आय में वृद्धि के साथ-साथ आत्मविश्वास और स्वावलंबन भी बढ़ा है।
ऊखीमठ की खण्ड विकास अधिकारी अनुष्का ने बताया कि अभी तक इन महिलाओं ने 5 लाख तक कि आय अर्जित की है उन्होंने कहा कि ब्लॉक की पूरी टीम स्थानीय महिलाओ के लिए हमेसा कार्य करती रहती है ,आगे भी इस तरह के ग्रोथ सेंटर खोलने की योजनाओं पर कार्य किया जा रहा है।
यह पहल न केवल स्थानीय आजीविका को मज़बूती दे रही है, बल्कि पहाड़ी क्षेत्रों में महिला सशक्तिकरण और स्वरोज़गार का एक सफल मॉडल भी बनकर उभर रही है।
