स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं में नवाचार और उत्कृष्ट कार्यों के लिए डॉ. आर. राजेश कुमार को पीआरएसआई राष्ट्रीय सम्मान

देहरादून। उत्तराखंड की स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं को नई दिशा और गति देने में उल्लेखनीय भूमिका निभाने वाले स्वास्थ्य सचिव डॉ. आर. राजेश कुमार को पब्लिक रिलेशन सोसाइटी ऑफ इंडिया (पीआरएसआई) द्वारा राष्ट्रीय सम्मान से नवाजा गया। यह प्रतिष्ठित पुरस्कार उन्हें विधानसभा अध्यक्ष ऋतु खंडूड़ी भूषण तथा पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री एवं पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री डॉ. रमेश पोखरियाल ‘निशंक’ द्वारा प्रदान किया गया। यह सम्मान प्रदेश में स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं के सुदृढ़ीकरण और नवाचारों के लिए उनके उत्कृष्ट योगदान का प्रतीक है।

सम्मान प्राप्त करने के उपरांत स्वास्थ्य सचिव डॉ. आर. राजेश कुमार ने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी और स्वास्थ्य मंत्री डॉ. धन सिंह रावत के मार्गदर्शन में राज्य सरकार स्वास्थ्य क्षेत्र में निरंतर सुधार की दिशा में कार्य कर रही है। उन्होंने बताया कि दूरस्थ एवं दुर्गम क्षेत्रों तक बेहतर स्वास्थ्य सेवाएं पहुंचाने के उद्देश्य से राज्य में टेलीमेडिसिन सेवाओं का व्यापक विस्तार किया गया है, साथ ही आपातकालीन परिस्थितियों में त्वरित उपचार सुनिश्चित करने के लिए एयर एम्बुलेंस सेवा भी प्रारंभ की गई है। उन्होंने यह सम्मान मुख्यमंत्री के कुशल नेतृत्व और स्वास्थ्य विभाग की समर्पित टीम को समर्पित किया।

डॉ. आर. राजेश कुमार के नेतृत्व में बीते वर्षों में राज्य की स्वास्थ्य व्यवस्था में उल्लेखनीय परिवर्तन देखने को मिले हैं। पहाड़ी और दूरस्थ क्षेत्रों में विशेषज्ञ डॉक्टरों की कमी को दूर करने के लिए डिजिटल तकनीक का प्रभावी उपयोग किया गया है। इसके साथ ही विशेषज्ञ चिकित्सकों की सेवानिवृत्ति आयु में वृद्धि, नई नियुक्तियां, मातृ एवं शिशु स्वास्थ्य कार्यक्रमों को सुदृढ़ करना तथा आधारभूत स्वास्थ्य ढांचे को मजबूत करने जैसे महत्वपूर्ण कदम उठाए गए हैं।

विशेष रूप से टेलीमेडिसिन सेवाओं के विस्तार ने उन क्षेत्रों में स्वास्थ्य सुविधाएं उपलब्ध कराई हैं, जहां पहले विशेषज्ञ चिकित्सा पहुंच से बाहर थी। इन नवाचारों के चलते उत्तराखंड स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं के क्षेत्र में एक मॉडल राज्य के रूप में उभर रहा है और यह राष्ट्रीय सम्मान इसी सतत प्रयासों की सार्थक स्वीकृति है।
