देहरादून। जिलाधिकारी डॉ. आशीष चौहान ने गुरुवार को दिल्ली-देहरादून आर्थिक कॉरिडोर से जुड़ी 12 किलोमीटर लंबी निर्माणाधीन ग्रीनफील्ड चार लेन बाईपास परियोजना का निरीक्षण कर कार्यों की प्रगति का जायजा लिया। उन्होंने राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग प्राधिकरण (एनएचएआई) के अधिकारियों को परियोजना का निर्माण समयबद्ध और उच्च गुणवत्ता के साथ पूरा करने के निर्देश दिए।
निरीक्षण के दौरान डीएम ने निर्माण कार्यों की गुणवत्ता, मशीनरी, मानव संसाधन और प्रगति की समीक्षा की। उन्होंने कहा कि यह परियोजना पूरी होने पर देहरादून शहर में यातायात का दबाव कम होगा और स्थानीय लोगों के साथ पर्यटकों को भी सुरक्षित एवं सुगम आवागमन की सुविधा मिलेगी।
डीएम ने स्पष्ट किया कि निर्माण कार्य में किसी भी प्रकार की अनावश्यक देरी स्वीकार नहीं की जाएगी। उन्होंने कार्यस्थलों पर पर्याप्त मशीनरी और श्रमिक उपलब्ध कराने, तकनीकी मानकों का पालन सुनिश्चित करने तथा सुरक्षा व्यवस्थाओं, बैरिकेडिंग और चेतावनी संकेतकों को प्रभावी बनाए रखने के निर्देश दिए।
उन्होंने अधिकारियों से परियोजना की नियमित समीक्षा करने और भूमि, तकनीकी या प्रशासनिक स्तर पर आने वाली समस्याओं का तत्काल समाधान सुनिश्चित करने को कहा, ताकि निर्माण कार्य बिना किसी बाधा के जारी रह सके।
करीब 716 करोड़ रुपये की लागत वाली यह परियोजना झाझरा से शुरू होकर राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग-7 के नए पांवटा साहिब/बल्लूपुर खंड को आशारोड़ी चेक पोस्ट के पास दिल्ली-देहरादून आर्थिक कॉरिडोर से जोड़ेगी। परियोजना के अप्रैल 2027 तक पूर्ण होने की संभावना है।
निरीक्षण के दौरान नगर मजिस्ट्रेट राकेश तिवारी, तहसीलदार सदर सुरेन्द्र देव तथा एनएचएआई के अधिकारी मौजूद रहे।
