राशन कार्ड के लिए दर दर भटक रही विधवा महिला की डीएम ने सुनी फरियाद

देहरादून: राशन कार्ड बनाने के लिए दर दर भटक रही विधवा महिला शकुंतला दत्त शर्मा, निवासी प्रभु कॉलोनी, चन्द्रबनी, देहरादून मंगलवार को डीएम कार्यालय पहुंची। महिला ने अपनी सारी व्यथा डीएम को सुनाई।

बताया कि पति का निधन हो चुका है। प्रार्थनी के कोई बच्चे नही है। कई बार आवेदन करने के बाद भी उनका राशन कार्ड नहीं बन पाया है। जिस कारण उनकी वृद्धावस्था पेंशन भी नहीं लग रही है। महिला ने जिलाधिकारी से राशन कार्ड और वृद्धावस्था पेंशन लगाने की गुहार लगाई। जिस पर जिलाधिकारी ने तत्काल जिला पूर्ति अधिकारी से महिला का राशन कार्ड की सभी औपचारिकताएं पूरी करते हुए राशन कार्ड निर्गत करने के आदेश जारी किए।

जिलाधिकारी द्वारा महिला को आश्वस्त करने पर विधवा महिला खुशी खुशी लौटी। कुछ देर बाद महिला को बताया गया कि उनका राशन कार्ड बना दिया गया है। पूर्ति निरीक्षक ने बताया कि जिलाधिकारी के निर्देशों पर राज्य खाद्य योजना के अंतर्गत महिला का राशन का जारी कर दिया गया है। राशन कार्ड बनने से अब विधवा महिला की पेंशन संबंधी समस्या भी दूर हो गई है। बुजुर्ग एवं विधवा महिला शकुंतला दत्त शर्मा ने जिलाधिकारी का आभार व्यक्त किया है।
