ऋषिकेश। क्षेत्रीय विधायक व मंत्री डा. प्रेमचंद अग्रवाल ने सिंचाई विभाग के अधिकारियों के साथ ऋषिकेश विधानसभा क्षेत्र में पिछले वर्ष जून माह में भारी वर्षा के कारण हुए जलभराव के निकासी की योजना की समीक्षा बैठक की।
डा अग्रवाल को सिंचाई विभाग के अधिकारियों ने बताया कि पिछले वर्ष जून माह में जलभराव की नेपाली फार्म से चंद्रभागा नदी शहरी क्षेत्र तक जल निकासी के लिए आगणन किया जा रहा है, जबकि ग्रामीण क्षेत्र रायवाला के आडवाणी प्लाट में जलभराव की समस्या के स्थाई समाधान को करीब 10 करोड़ रूपये की लागत योजना तैयार है।
डा अग्रवाल ने कहा कि शहरी क्षेत्रों में भी जलभराव के स्थायी निकासी का आगणन कर अग्रेतर कार्यवाही की जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि वर्षा काल से पूर्व कार्य में प्रगति होनी चाहिए। इस दिशा में कार्य किया जाए। इसके अलावा डा. अग्रवाल ने गौहरी माफी और खदरी क्षेत्र के निर्माण कार्यों की भी जानकारी हासिल की। जिस पर अधिकारियों ने बताया कि खदरी में निर्माण कार्य पूर्ण कर लिया गया है, जबकि गौहरी माफी में गतिमान है। डा. अग्रवाल ने शेष कार्यों को जल्द पूर्ण करने के निर्देश दिए। इस मौके पर सिंचाई विभाग के अधिशासी अभियंता दिनेश उनियाल, एसडीओ अनुभव नौटियाल आदि उपस्थित रहे।
