भारत मौसम विज्ञान विभाग, मौसम विज्ञान केन्द्र देहरादून द्वारा दिनांक 27.12.2024 को सांय 6:30 बजे जारी किए गए पूर्वानुमान के अनुसार, 28.12.2024 को उत्तराखण्ड राज्य के विभिन्न जनपदों के साथ-साथ जनपद बागेश्वर के कुछ क्षेत्रों में, विशेषकर 2500 मीटर और उससे अधिक ऊंचाई वाले इलाकों में भारी बर्फबारी की संभावना जताई गई है। इसके अतिरिक्त, कुछ स्थानों पर शीत दिवस भी रहने की आशंका है।
इस गंभीर मौसम परिस्थिति को ध्यान में रखते हुए, छात्रों और छात्राओं की सुरक्षा के उद्देश्य से भारत मौसम विज्ञान विभाग, मौसम विज्ञान केन्द्र देहरादून के पूर्वानुमान के आधार पर, दिनांक 28.12.2024 को जनपद बागेश्वर में स्थित सभी शासकीय, गैर-शासकीय और निजी विद्यालयों (कक्षा 1 से 12 तक) एवं आंगनवाड़ी केंद्रों में अवकाश घोषित किया जाता है।
