मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी से गुरूवार को सचिवालय में उत्तराखण्ड चारधाम तीर्थ पुरोहित महापंचायत के सदस्यों और पंडा पुजारियों ने भेंट की। उन्होने चारधामों में शीतकालीन दर्शन यात्रा के लिये मुख्यमंत्री द्वारा की गई अभिनव पहल के लिये मुख्यमंत्री का आभार व्यक्त किया। उन्होने 16 दिसम्बर से आरम्भ होने वाली शीतकालीन यात्रा के शुभारंभ अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री को भी आमंत्रित किया है।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि शीतकालीन चार धाम यात्रा के सफल संचालन में चार धाम तीर्थ पुरोहित महा पंचायत के साथ अन्य सभी सम्बन्धित संस्थानो एवं संगठनो आदि को भी सहयोगी बनना होगा। उन्होने कहा कि शीतकालीन चार धाम यात्रा सफलता पूर्वक संचालन हो, इसके लिये सभी सम्बधित अधिकारियों को आवश्यक व्यवस्थायें सुनिश्चित करने के निर्देश दिये गये है।

शीतकालीन यात्रा से राज्य की आर्थिकी को भी बढावा देने में मदद मिलेगी तथा स्थानीय लोगों को रोजगार के अवसर उपलब्ध होगें। पंच बद्री व पंच केदार के साथ ही चारों धामों के शीतकालीन यात्रा प्रवास के आसपास के प्रमुख तीर्थ एवं पर्यटक स्थलों को विकसित करने के भी निर्देश अधिकारियों को दिये गये है। चारधाम यात्रा मार्गों के आबादी वाले क्षेत्रों में सुगम यातायात एवं पार्किंग की भी प्रभावी व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित किये जाने के निर्देश सभी सम्बधित विभागीय अधिकारियों को दिये गये है।

महा पंचायत के सदस्यों और पंडा पुजारियों ने मुख्यमंत्री को अवगत कराया कि उत्तराखण्ड के चार धामों, यमुनोत्री, गंगोत्री, केदारनाथ एवं बदरीनाथ धाम के कपाट शीतकाल के लिए बंद होने के बाद इन धामों की शीतकालीन पूजा, मां यमुना की खरसाली (खुशी मठ) मां गंगा की मुखवा (मुखीमठ), केदारनाथ की पूजा ओंकारेश्वर मंदिर ऊखीमठ एवं उद्धव व कुबेर की पूजा पांडुकेश्वर तथा शंकराचार्य के गद्दी स्थल ज्योतिर्मठ के नृसिंह मंदिर में की जाती है। चारों धामों के तीर्थ पुरोहित एवं पुजारी समाज द्वारा मुख्यमंत्री से चारों धामों के शीतकालीन पूजा स्थलों का व्यापक प्रचार प्रसार के साथ ही इन पूजा स्थलों में आधारभूत सुविधाएं उपलब्ध कराये जाने का अनुरोध किया।
