उत्तराखंड स्वास्थ्य विभाग ने चिकित्सा अधिकारियों को बड़ा तोहफा दिया है। प्रमोशन की राह देख रहे हैं चिकित्सा अधिकारियों की वर्षों पुरानी मुराद शासन ने आज पूरी कर दी है। राज्य सचिवालय में स्वास्थ्य सचिव डॉ0 आर राजेश कुमार की अध्यक्षता में डीपीसी की अहम बैठक आहूत की गई। जिसमें महानिदेशक स्वास्थ्य सहित शासन-प्रशासन के अधिकारी मौजूद रहे। डीपीसी की इस महत्वपूर्ण बैठक में 25 अपर निदेशक व 30 संयुक्त निदेशक के पदों पर डीपीसी की प्रक्रिया पूरी गई है।

स्वास्थ्य सचिव डॉ आर राजेश कुमार ने कहा चिकित्सकों की मांगों पर शासन हमेशा संवेदनशील रहा है। उन्होंने कहा महानिदेशालय से आए प्रस्ताव में अनेक खामियां थी, जिस वजह से पूरी प्रक्रिया में कुछ वक्त लग गया। आज डीपीसी की बैठक में 25 अपर निदेशक व 30 संयुक्त निदेशक के पदों पर समिति के द्वारा निर्णय लिया गया है। जिसका जल्द ही विधिवत आदेश भी जारी कर दिया जाएगा। एसडीएसीपी पर भी जल्द निर्णय हो जायेगा। चिकित्सकों की सुरक्षा को लेकर समय-समय पर ठोस कदम उठाये गए हैं। शासन के द्वारा कर्मचारियों के मुद्दे पर विशेष ध्यान दिया जा रहा है।
