उत्तरकाशी मुख्यालय में सौरभ फाउंडेशन (Where Children Come First) द्वारा स्वर्गीय सौरभ भट्ट की पुण्य स्मृति में “नशे के खिलाफ अभियान” के अंतर्गत आयोजित बैडमिंटन टूर्नामेंट के फाइनल मुकाबले में बतौर मुख्य अतिथि पूर्व विधायक विजयपाल सजवाण ने प्रतिभाग किया।

इस अवसर पर श्री सजवाण ने विजेता व उपविजेता खिलाड़ियों को पुरस्कार वितरित कर उन्हें शुभकामनाएं दीं। उन्होंने कहा कि –

“खेल न केवल शरीर को स्वस्थ रखता है, बल्कि युवाओं को सकारात्मक दिशा देने का सशक्त माध्यम भी है। नशे के खिलाफ इस तरह की रचनात्मक पहल समाज को एक नई राह दिखाती है।”

श्री सजवाण ने स्व. सौरभ भट्ट को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करते हुए उनके शिक्षा, सामाजिक चेतना और युवाओं के कल्याण हेतु किए गए कार्यों को याद किया। उन्होंने कहा कि स्व. भट्ट एक प्रेरणादायक, दूरदर्शी और सामाजिक सरोकारों से जुड़े हुए युवा थे, जिनका जीवन आज भी अनेक युवाओं को दिशा देता है।

उन्होंने आयोजन समिति का आभार व्यक्त करते हुए स्व. भट्ट के पिता श्री सुरेश चंद्र भट्ट एवं फाउंडेशन के अध्यक्ष श्री आकाश भट्ट को इस सकारात्मक व समाजोपयोगी आयोजन हेतु हार्दिक शुभकामनाएं दीं।
