इन सभी प्रोजेक्ट के ठेकेदार दोनों तरफ से फंस चुके है फंड न आने के कारण एवं समय पर काम करने का दबाव बनता जा रहा है। अब ठेकेदारों का फाइनेंशियल स्थिति इतनी बिगड़ चुकी है की वे लेबर, स्टाफ ,मशीनरी एवं अन्य वेंडरों को पेमेंट करने तक की स्थिति में नहीं है। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि योजनाओं में ठेकेदार द्वारा किए गए काम जो की अधूरे हैं, नलों में पानी न होने के कारण या सड़क भराई न होने के कारण जनता में काफी रोष भी है और जनता की नाराजगी ठेकेदारों को उठानी पर रही है।

अध्यक्ष अमित अग्रवाल ने कहा कि जल जीवन मिशन के काम में ठेकेदारों का करीब दो हजार करोड़ का भुगतान किया जाना है। बिना बजट भुगतान के ही ठेकेदारों ने प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के ड्रीम प्रोजेक्ट और सामाजिक कार्य के लिहाज से 80 से लेकर 95 प्रतिशत तक काम पूरे कर दिए हैं। इसके बाद भी समय पर भुगतान नहीं किया जा रहा है।
