सीएम धामी ने बुधवार को गाँधी पार्क, देहरादून से जनप्रतिनिधियों, हजारों की संख्या में युवाओं, छात्र – छात्राओं, महिलाओं एवं बच्चों के साथ हाथ में तिरंगा लेकर ‘भारत मां की जयकार, वंदे मातरम’ की गूंज के साथ तिरंगा यात्रा का नेतृत्व किया।

सीएम ने उपस्थित लोगों का उत्साहवर्धन किया, विशेषकर युवाओं का हौसला बढ़ाया। उन्होंने ‘हर घर तिरंगा’ अभियान (13-15 अगस्त) का शुभारंभ भी किया। राष्ट्रभक्ति के गीतों की धुनों के बीच मुख्यमंत्री ने तिरंगा यात्रा का नेतृत्व किया। सीएम ने युवाओं का अभिनंदन करते हुए सभी को स्वतंत्रता दिवस की अग्रिम शुभकामनाएं भी दी। तिरंगा यात्रा को देख लग रहा था कि देहरादून की सड़कों पर समूचा भारत उमड़ पड़ा है।
