मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने मंगलवार को सचिवालय में सितंबर-2024 से अक्टूबर-2024 के मध्य प्रदेश में 60 वर्ष की आयु पूर्ण करने वाले कुल 61 व्यक्तियों को ऑनलाइन माध्यम से वृद्धावस्था पेंशन का वितरण किया। मुख्यमंत्री के निर्देश पर राज्य में पहली बार 60 वर्ष की आयु पूर्ण करते ही राज्य के व्यक्तियों को वृद्धावस्था पेंशन स्वीकृत किए जाने की कार्यवाही प्रारम्भ की गई है।

मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी के निर्देशों पर समाज कल्याण विभाग के पेंशन पोर्टल पर अब 59 वर्ष 6 माह की आयु पूर्ण करने के पश्चात भी वृद्धावस्था पेंशन हेतु आवेदन प्राप्त किए जा सकेंगे। आवेदक का फॉर्म स्वीकृति पश्चात जिस माह आवेदक 60 वर्ष की आयु पूर्ण करेंगे, उस माह के अंत से उनकी वृद्धावस्था पेंशन प्रारंभ कर दी जाएगी। इससे बुजुर्गों को समय से वृद्धावस्था पेंशन का लाभ मिल सकेगा।

मुख्यमंत्र ने कहा कि वृद्धावस्था पेंशन स्वीकृत किए जाने की व्यवस्था का सलीकरण किये जाने से अब हमारे वृद्धजनों को समय से वृद्धावस्था पेंशन का लाभ मिल सकेगा। उन्होंने कहा राज्य सरकार ने वृद्धावस्था पेंशन को 1200 से बढ़ाकर 1500 किया है।

अब पति पत्नी दोनों वृद्ध दंपति को पेंशन का लाभ दिया जा रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि हमारा उदेश्य समाज के अंतिम छोर पर खड़े व्यक्ति तक विकास और सरकार की जनकल्याणकारी योजनाओं का लाभ पहुंचाना है, जिसके लिए लगातार प्रयास हो रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य के सभी वृद्धजन उनके अभिभावक के समान है, जिनकी सेवा में वे हमेशा तत्पर रहेंगे।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने बाबा केदारनाथ की भूमि से 21वीं सदी का तीसरा दशक उत्तराखंड का दशक बताया था। जिसपर राज्य सरकार निरंतर कार्य कर रही है। उत्तराखंड विकास के पथ पर निरंतर आगे बढ़ रहा है।

इस अवसर पर सचिव समाज कल्याण श्री नीरज खैरवाल ने बताया कि दिनांक 25-सितंबर-2024 से 15 अक्टूबर-2024 के मध्य विभाग द्वारा जनपदों में 60 वर्ष की आयु पूर्ण करने वाले व्यक्तियों के चिन्हीकरण हेतु राज्य के समस्त जनपदों में वृहद अभियान संचालित किया गया। विभाग द्वारा ऐसे 12 हजार व्यक्तियों को अभियान के दौरान चिन्हित किया गया।

अभियान के अंतर्गत ऐसे व्यक्तियों का डाटा एकत्रित किया गया जो दिनांक 01-अक्टूबर-2024 को 60 वर्ष की आयु पूर्ण कर चुके हैं एवं वृद्धावस्था पेंशन हेतु पात्र हैं। इसके अतिरिक्त ऐसे व्यक्तियों का डाटा भी एकत्रित किया गया जो 59 वर्ष 6 माह की आयु पूर्ण कर चुके हैं और वृद्धावस्था पेंशन हेतु पात्रता रखते हैं। इस अवसर पर अपर सचिव गौरव कुमार, निदेशक एवं आयुक्त दिव्यांगजन प्रकाश चंद्र, सहित अन्य लोग उपस्थित थे।
