ऋषिकेश, 23 अप्रैल। भारत के उपराष्ट्रपति सी. पी. राधाकृष्णन ने गुरुवार को अखिल भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थान ऋषिकेश के 6वें दीक्षांत समारोह को संबोधित करते हुए स्नातक विद्यार्थियों से राष्ट्र निर्माण में योगदान देने का आह्वान किया। उन्होंने कहा कि चिकित्सा केवल पेशा नहीं, बल्कि जनसेवा और राष्ट्रसेवा का माध्यम है। विद्यार्थियों को संवेदनशीलता, ईमानदारी और सेवा भाव के साथ अपने दायित्व निभाने चाहिए।

उपराष्ट्रपति ने कहा कि ऋषिकेश आध्यात्म, चिंतन और उपचार का वैश्विक केंद्र है तथा हिमालय का प्रवेश द्वार होने के कारण यहां आयोजित दीक्षांत समारोह का विशेष महत्व है। उन्होंने कहा कि दीक्षांत समारोह वर्षों की मेहनत, अनुशासन और त्याग का परिणाम होता है, लेकिन इसके साथ समाज और राष्ट्र के प्रति नई जिम्मेदारियां भी शुरू होती हैं।

कोविड-19 महामारी का उल्लेख करते हुए उपराष्ट्रपति ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में भारत ने दृढ़ता, नवाचार और प्रतिबद्धता का परिचय दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि देश में 140 करोड़ से अधिक लोगों को मुफ्त टीके लगाए गए, जिससे स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं तक समान पहुंच सुनिश्चित हुई। भारतीय वैज्ञानिकों ने मानवता के कल्याण के लिए वैक्सीन विकसित की।

उन्होंने भारत की वैक्सीन मैत्री पहल का भी जिक्र करते हुए कहा कि इसके तहत 100 से अधिक देशों को वैक्सीन उपलब्ध कराई गई, जो ‘वसुधैव कुटुंबकम’ की भावना का प्रतीक है और भारत को एक जिम्मेदार वैश्विक भागीदार के रूप में स्थापित करता है।उपराष्ट्रपति ने कहा कि पिछले एक दशक में देशभर में नए एम्स संस्थानों की स्थापना से गुणवत्तापूर्ण स्वास्थ्य सेवाएं और चिकित्सा शिक्षा दूरदराज क्षेत्रों तक पहुंची है। उन्होंने कहा कि सुशासन का अर्थ जनता की जरूरतों को समझना और उनकी सेवा करना है।

उन्होंने अखिल भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थान ऋषिकेश की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि यह संस्थान क्लीनिकल केयर, शिक्षा, शोध, नवाचार और सामाजिक प्रतिबद्धता का उत्कृष्ट मॉडल है। टेलीमेडिसिन पहल की प्रशंसा करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि स्वास्थ्य सेवाएं अस्पताल परिसरों तक सीमित नहीं रहनी चाहिए, बल्कि दूरस्थ और वंचित आबादी तक पहुंचनी चाहिए।

उपराष्ट्रपति ने हेलीकॉप्टर इमरजेंसी मेडिकल सर्विस और चारधाम यात्रा के दौरान ड्रोन के माध्यम से दवाइयों की आपूर्ति जैसी पहलों को स्वास्थ्य सेवा वितरण की दिशा में प्रभावी समाधान बताया।
उन्होंने क्षेत्र में तेजी से हो रहे आधारभूत ढांचे के विकास, विशेषकर दिल्ली–देहरादून एक्सप्रेसवे का उल्लेख किया। साथ ही मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी के नेतृत्व में उत्तराखंड सरकार द्वारा समावेशी विकास, बेहतर आधारभूत ढांचा और स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं को मजबूत करने के प्रयासों की सराहना की।

उपराष्ट्रपति ने कहा कि स्वास्थ्य सेवा एक सार्वजनिक विश्वास है और चिकित्सा पेशेवर राष्ट्र निर्माण में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हैं। उन्होंने युवाओं से निवारक स्वास्थ्य देखभाल, ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में सेवा, शोध और नवाचार में योगदान देने का आह्वान किया।

इस अवसर पर उत्तराखंड के राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह (सेवानिवृत्त), मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी, केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण राज्य मंत्री अनुप्रिया पटेल, एम्स ऋषिकेश के अध्यक्ष प्रो. राज बहादुर, डीन (एकेडमिक) प्रो. सौरभ, कार्यकारी निदेशक प्रो. मीनू सिंह सहित अनेक गणमान्य लोग उपस्थित रहे।

    from its asset sales, which are currently waiting for state approval, as well as a separate “bridge loan”, before it

    for a securities class action in the Supreme Court

    venture partners to take over Star Entertainment’s stake in the Brisbane project
