मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने होमगार्ड्स एवं नागरिक सुरक्षा विभाग में वर्दी सामग्री खरीद से जुड़े घोटाले में संलिप्त पाए जाने पर निदेशक होमगार्ड (डिप्टी कमांडेंट) अमिताभ श्रीवास्तव को तत्काल प्रभाव से निलंबित करते हुए मामले की जांच के लिए संयुक्त जांच समिति गठित करने के निर्देश दिए हैं।
प्रकरण वित्तीय वर्ष 2024-25 और 2025-26 के दौरान होमगार्ड्स के लिए वर्दी सामग्री की खरीद प्रक्रिया से जुड़ा है, जिसमें टेंडर प्रक्रिया में वित्तीय अनियमितताओं के आरोप सामने आए थे। महानिदेशक, होमगार्ड्स एवं नागरिक सुरक्षा, देहरादून की ओर से शासन को भेजी गई रिपोर्ट में टेंडर प्रक्रिया में पारदर्शिता के अभाव और नियमों के उल्लंघन की बात सामने आई।
महानिदेशक की संस्तुति पर सीएम धामी ने डिप्टी कमांडेंट को तत्काल प्रभाव से निलंबित करते हुए संयुक्त जांच समिति गठित करने के निर्देश दिए हैं।
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने स्पष्ट शब्दों में कहा कि राज्य सरकार भ्रष्टाचार के प्रति जीरो टॉलरेंस की नीति पर काम कर रही है और किसी भी स्तर पर अनियमितता या भ्रष्ट आचरण बर्दाश्त नहीं किया जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा कि दोषी पाए जाने वाले किसी भी अधिकारी या कर्मचारी के खिलाफ कड़ी से कड़ी कार्रवाई सुनिश्चित की जाएगी।
