जनपद रुद्रप्रयाग, चमोली, टिहरी और बागेश्वर के कुछ क्षेत्रों में बादल फटने की सूचना प्राप्त होते ही मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने संबंधित जिलों के जिलाधिकारियों से फोन पर वार्ता कर राहत एवं बचाव कार्यों को त्वरित गति से संचालित करने के निर्देश दिए। मुख्यमंत्री ने अधिकारियों से कहा कि प्रभावित लोगों को तुरंत सुरक्षित स्थानों पर पहुंचाया जाए और किसी भी प्रकार की देरी न हो।

मुख्यमंत्री श्री धामी ने शुक्रवार को मुख्यमंत्री आवास में आयोजित आपदा प्रबंधन की उच्चस्तरीय बैठक में अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में सभी मूलभूत सुविधाएं शीघ्र उपलब्ध कराई जाएं। सड़क, विद्युत एवं पेयजल आपूर्ति बाधित होने की स्थिति में उन्हें तत्काल सुचारू किया जाए। उन्होंने वर्चुअल माध्यम से रुद्रप्रयाग, चमोली और टिहरी और बागेश्वर के जिलाधिकारियों से बादल फटने की घटनाओं की विस्तृत जानकारी प्राप्त की तथा राहत एवं बचाव कार्यों में और तेजी लाने के निर्देश दिए। जिलाधिकारी नैनीताल से भी मुख्यमंत्री ने बारिश और सड़कों की स्थिति की जानकारी ली।

मुख्यमंत्री ने यह भी स्पष्ट किया कि पूरे मानसून सीजन तक शासन और प्रशासन अलर्ट मोड पर रहे। जिलाधिकारियों द्वारा आपदा राहत कार्यों के लिए जो भी आवश्यक संसाधन और सुविधाएं अपेक्षित हों, उन्हें तत्काल उपलब्ध कराया जाए। साथ ही यह सुनिश्चित किया जाए कि प्रभावित परिवारों को निर्धारित मानकों के अनुसार मुआवजा शीघ्र उपलब्ध हो।
