ऋषिकेश: गंगा में मिल रही चंद्रभागा नदी के रपटे को पार करने के दौरान महिला का संतुलन बिगड़ और वह गंगा में बहने लगी। पत्नी को बहता देख पति उसे बचाने के लिए गंगा में कूद गया। जिसके बाद दोनों गंगा की लहरों में लापता हो गए।
सूचना पर पहुंची दंपती की तलाश में पुलिस और एसडीआरएफ की टीमों ने गंगा तटों पर खोज अभियान चलाया। लेकिन अब तक उनका पता नहीं चल पाया है। दंपती ऋषिकेश के गंगा तटों पर फड़ लगाकर छोटो-मोटा सामान बेचने का काम करते थे। वहां यहां पर चंद्रेश्वर नगर में रहते हैं मूलरूप से हाथरस उत्तरप्रदेश के रहने वाले हैं।
नावघाट के पास मौजूद लोगों ने उन्हें बहता देखकर पुलिस को सूचना दी। सूचना पर मौके पर पहुंची पुलिस और एसडीआरएफ की टीम ने दंपती की तलाश में खोज अभियान चलाया। लेकिन उनका कुछ पता नहीं चला। शनिवार को भी टीम गंगा में दंपती की तलाश करती रही। लेकिन देर शाम तक उनका कुछ पता नहीं चला।
