खटीमा। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने रविवार को ऊधम सिंह नगर जनपद के खटीमा स्थित लोहियाहेड वाटर बाईपास का स्थलीय निरीक्षण किया। इस दौरान उन्होंने क्षेत्र की प्राकृतिक सुंदरता और पर्यटन संभावनाओं का अवलोकन करते हुए अधिकारियों से विकास योजनाओं की जानकारी ली।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि लोहियाहेड वाटर बाईपास में पर्यटन विकास की व्यापक संभावनाएं हैं और इसे एक आकर्षक पर्यटन स्थल के रूप में विकसित किया जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य सरकार प्रदेश में पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए लगातार विभिन्न योजनाओं पर कार्य कर रही है।
उन्होंने बताया कि शारदा कॉरिडोर और शारदा रिवर फ्रंट जैसी महत्वाकांक्षी परियोजनाओं के माध्यम से भी क्षेत्र के समग्र विकास को गति दी जा रही है। इन परियोजनाओं के पूर्ण होने से पर्यटकों की संख्या बढ़ेगी और स्थानीय अर्थव्यवस्था को मजबूती मिलेगी।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि पर्यटन गतिविधियों के विस्तार से स्थानीय युवाओं के लिए रोजगार के नए अवसर सृजित होंगे। साथ ही स्वरोजगार, छोटे व्यवसाय और स्थानीय लोगों की आय में भी वृद्धि होगी। सरकार का लक्ष्य राज्य की पर्यटन क्षमता का अधिकतम उपयोग कर आम लोगों को प्रत्यक्ष लाभ पहुंचाना है।
निरीक्षण के दौरान मुख्यमंत्री ने जिलाधिकारी और संबंधित विभागों के अधिकारियों को लोहियाहेड वाटर बाईपास के विकास के लिए आवश्यक कार्यवाही तेजी से आगे बढ़ाने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने कहा कि विकास कार्यों में गुणवत्ता, पर्यावरण संरक्षण और स्थानीय जरूरतों का विशेष ध्यान रखा जाए।
