देहरादून 11 मई। आगामी मानसून सीजन को देखते हुए उत्तराखंड सरकार ने आपदा प्रबंधन को लेकर तैयारियां तेज कर दी हैं। सोमवार को उत्तराखंड राज्य आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण (यूएसडीएमए) में आयोजित उच्चस्तरीय समीक्षा बैठक में आपदा प्रबंधन एवं पुनर्वास मंत्री मदन कौशिक ने सभी विभागों को 24 घंटे अलर्ट मोड में रहने के निर्देश दिए।

मंत्री ने कहा कि उत्तराखंड में मानसून का समय बेहद संवेदनशील होता है और इसी दौरान चारधाम यात्रा भी चरम पर रहती है। ऐसे में किसी भी प्रकार की लापरवाही की गुंजाइश नहीं है। उन्होंने जिला प्रशासन, पुलिस, एसडीआरएफ, एनडीआरएफ और सभी रेखीय विभागों को आपसी समन्वय के साथ कार्य करने को कहा।

उन्होंने निर्देश दिए कि किसी भी आपदा की सूचना मिलते ही राहत और बचाव दल तुरंत मौके पर पहुंचे और राहत कार्य शुरू करें। मंत्री ने कहा कि आपदा प्रबंधन में रिस्पांस टाइम सबसे अहम होता है, इसलिए सभी विभाग अपने रिस्पांस मैकेनिज्म को और अधिक प्रभावी बनाएं।

बैठक में मंत्री ने मानसून से पहले प्रदेशभर में नालों और नालियों की कम से कम दो बार सफाई सुनिश्चित करने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने कहा कि इससे जलभराव और शहरी बाढ़ जैसी समस्याओं को काफी हद तक रोका जा सकेगा।
