रुद्रपुर में शहीद ऊधम सिंह की कांस्य प्रतिमा का अनावरण, मुख्यमंत्री ने दी ₹3.85 करोड़ की विकास परियोजनाओं की सौगात

 

रुद्रपुर। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने शुक्रवार को शहीद ऊधम सिंह की पुण्यतिथि पर रुद्रपुर स्थित कलेक्ट्रेट परिसर में ₹40 लाख की लागत से स्थापित 9 फीट ऊंची कांस्य प्रतिमा का अनावरण कर उन्हें पुष्पांजलि अर्पित की। उन्होंने कहा कि शहीद ऊधम सिंह का जीवन राष्ट्रभक्ति, आत्मसम्मान और अन्याय के विरुद्ध संघर्ष का अमर प्रतीक है, जो आने वाली पीढ़ियों को प्रेरणा देता रहेगा।

इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री ने जनसुविधाओं से जुड़ी विकास परियोजनाओं का लोकार्पण एवं शिलान्यास भी किया। उन्होंने ₹1.20 करोड़ की लागत से कलेक्ट्रेट परिसर में निर्मित पार्किंग, लैंडस्केपिंग एवं ड्रेनेज कार्य का लोकार्पण किया, जबकि रुद्रपुर की कैनाल कॉलोनी में ₹2.65 करोड़ की लागत से बनने वाली सरफेस पार्किंग का शिलान्यास किया। इन परियोजनाओं से पार्किंग व्यवस्था, यातायात प्रबंधन और जनसुविधाओं में सुधार होगा।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य सरकार आधुनिक आधारभूत सुविधाओं के विकास, जनसुविधाओं के विस्तार और बेहतर प्रशासनिक व्यवस्था के लिए निरंतर कार्य कर रही है। सभी विकास कार्य गुणवत्ता, पारदर्शिता और समयबद्धता के साथ पूरे किए जा रहे हैं ताकि आमजन को उनका सीधा लाभ मिल सके।

कार्यक्रम के दौरान मुख्यमंत्री ने वर्चुअल माध्यम से पंजाब में रह रहे शहीद ऊधम सिंह के परिजनों से बातचीत कर उनके बलिदान को नमन किया। उन्होंने कहा कि उत्तराखंड शहीद ऊधम सिंह के सर्वोच्च बलिदान को सदैव स्मरण रखेगा। इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री ने कलेक्ट्रेट परिसर में रुद्राक्ष का पौधा भी रोपा।

कार्यक्रम में जनप्रतिनिधियों, प्रशासनिक अधिकारियों और बड़ी संख्या में नागरिकों ने भाग लिया।
