ऋषिकेश। गढ़वाल मंडल विकास निगम के गंगा रिसॉर्ट में उत्तराखंड सरकार द्वारा सात दिवसीय इंटरनेशनल योग महोत्सव का आयोजन किया गया। इसमें पर्यटन मंत्री सतपाल महाराज समेत पर्यटन सचिव सचिन कुर्वे, कैबिनेट मंत्री सुबोध उनियाल एवं शहरी विकास मंत्री प्रेमचंद अग्रवाल ने शिरकत की।

अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग महोत्सव का पर्यटन मंत्री सतपाल महाराज ने संयुक्त रूप से इंटरनेशनल योग महोत्सव का शुभारंभ किया। बता दें कि इंटरनेशनल योग महोत्सव में 06 योग स्कूलों ने प्रतिभाग किया है। इसमें मुख्य रूप से मानव धर्म रिमी, द आर्ट ऑफ़ लिविंग, इशा फाऊंडेशन कोयंबटूर, कृष्ण आचार्य योग मंदिराम चेन्नई, रामानी अयंगर मेमोरियल योग संस्थान शिवानंद आश्रम है। योग महोत्सव में नामित योगाचार्यों द्वारा आर्ट ऑफ लिविंग सहित अन्य योग मुद्राओं की प्रस्तुति भी दी जाएगी। इसके अलावा अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग महोत्सव में योगा सेशन के तहत मेडिटेशन सेशन, लाफ्टर योगा एवं हीलिंग(ऑडी सेशन), डिवाइन स्पीकर, पैनल डिस्कशन, कीर्तन, गंगा आरती एवं सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम किए जाएंगे। यह योग महोत्सव 15 मार्च से 21 मार्च तक चलेगा। योग महोत्सव में पर्यटन मंत्री सतपाल महाराज ने कहा कि अंतरराष्ट्रीय योग महोत्सव में उत्तम दर्जे के योगाचार्य योग का प्रदर्शन करेंगें एवं उसकी जानकारी देंगे। बताया कि योग के प्रति अभिरुचि रखते हैं, वह योग साधक भी महोत्सव की प्रतीक्षा करते हैं। वहीं, वन मंत्री सुबोध उनियाल ने कहा कि यह क्षेत्र पिछले कुछ वर्ष में पर्यटन जैसी महत्वपूर्ण गतिविधियों का केंद्र बन चुका है। योग केंद्र, एडवेंचर टूरिज्म के कारण इस क्षेत्र में अच्छे रोजगार पैदा हो रहे हैं। सरकार के इन प्रयासों से अर्थव्यवस्था में भी तेजी आई है। वित्त मंत्री प्रेमचंद अग्रवाल ने कहा कि योग का मतलब एकजुटता है। साथ ही शरीर को स्वस्थ करने की योग एक विधा भी है। लोग आज जागरूक हैं इसलिए योग को अपना रहे हैं। इसलिए लोग जागरुक होकर योग अपना रहे हैं। इसके उपरांत योग महोत्सव में संध्याकालीन गंगा आरती भी की गई। इसमें विभिन्न देशों से आए योगियों, साधकों एवं जिज्ञासाओं ने प्रतिभाग किया। इस दौरान लाइव बैंड कबीर कैफे की प्रस्तुति दी गई।
