देहरादून: सीएम की प्रेरणा से डीएम सविन बंसल शहर की यातायात व्यवस्था में सुधार लाने हेतु निरंतर प्रयासरत हैं, जिसके लिए शहर में पार्किंग एवं यातायात प्रबन्धन हेतु निरंतर प्रयास किये जा रहे हैं। डीएम एवं एसएसपी के शहर भ्रमण उपरान्त सड़क सुधार एवं यातायात प्रबन्धन तथा बाजारों जनमानस की सुरक्षा के दृष्टिगट निंरतर सुधारात्मक कार्य गतिमान है।

डीएम ने अधिकारियों को मा0 न्यायालय द्वारा सड़क सुरक्षा समिति को सुधार हेतु प्रदान की गई असीम शक्तियों तथा आपदा प्रबन्धन अधिनियम 2005 में वर्णित शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए सड़क सुधार कार्य किये जाने को निर्देशित किया गया है। जिला प्रशासन द्वारा प्रत्येेक जीवन अमूल्य है के डीएम के मंत्र के साथ सड़क पर तेज रफ्तार पर ब्रेक के लिए निरंतर सुधार किये जा रहे हैं।

आईएसबीटी क्षेत्र आवागमन हेतु 02 गेट होने के उपरान्त भी 01 गेट से बसों का संचालन किया जा रहा है था, अब ऋषिकेश, हरिद्वार, कोटद्वार व गढवाल तथा कुमाऊ के क्षेत्रों में जाने वाले वाहन का निकास व प्रवेश गेट न0 2 के कट से तथा सहारनपुर, दिल्ली जाने वाले वाहनों का निकास गेट 01 के कट से किये जाने एवं प्रवेश गेट 2 से करने की व्यवस्था बनाई गई है।

आईएसबीटी क्षेत्र के बाहर वाहनों द्वारा यात्रियों को बैठाने तथा उतारने से भी यातायात प्रभावित हो रहा था, जिसे अब बंद करने का निर्णय लिया गया है, वाहन में यात्रियों को बैठाने व उतारने हेतु स्थल निर्धारित किए गए हैं। नियमों का पालन न करने वालों निरंतर कार्रवाई गतिमान है। इसके लिए पुलिस अधीक्षक यातायात व सहायक संभागीय परिवहन अधिकारी की जिम्मेदारी तय की गई है।

आईएसबीटी फ्लाई ओवर के नीचे जंक्शन प्वांईट पर निरंजनपुर मण्डी की तरफ आने वाले ट्रेफिक क कारगी चौक एवं टर्नर रोड की तरफ जाने के कारण तथा टर्नर रोड से जाने वाले वाहनों के कारगी एवं निरंजनपुर मण्डी से वाहनों को निरंजनपुर मण्डी की तरफ जाने के कारण उत्पन्न जाम की स्थिति में सुधार करते हुए निरंजनपुर मण्डी से दुपहिया एवं चार पहिया हल्के वाहनों को निरंजनपुर मण्डी की तरफ से फ्लाई आवेर के माध्यम से जंक्शन आईएसलैण्ड से कारगी चौक की तरफ संचालित डायवर्ट कर, आईएसबीटी फ्लाईओवर के नीचे सर्विस रोड़ एवं जंक्शन प्वांईट पर यातायात दबाव कम करने का प्रयास किया गया है।

वहीं फ्लाई ओवर का कारगी की ओर लेफ्टटर्न पूर्ण सुरक्षा उपाय कर लिए गए हैं, अब इसे पब्लिक को समर्पित करने की तैयारी है। आईएसबीटी पर 4 कलर्ड पार्किंग का कार्य पूर्ण हो गया शीघ्र ही जनमानस को समर्पित की जाएंगी।

आईएसबीटी क्षेत्र में बस अड्डे के आसपास व्यवसायिक प्रतिष्ठानों के स्वामियों के वाहन/ई रिक्शा/छोटे हाथी/टाटा मैजिक व अन्य सवारी वाहनों के समुचित पार्किंग न होने के कारण वाहन मुख्य मार्ग पर पार्क किये जा रहे थे, जो अब फ्लाई ओवर के नीचे उपलब्ध स्थानों में अलग अलग वाहनों के लिए 4 कलरकोड पार्किंग की व्यवस्था की गई है। वहीं आईएसबीटी पर ड्रेनेज समस्या निस्तारण कार्य बरसात से पूर्व करने हेतु टैंडर प्रक्रिया उपरांत कार्य प्रारंभ हो गया है।
