उत्तराखंड में आयोजित 38वें राष्ट्रीय खेलों की अभूतपूर्व सफलता के बाद अब राज्य सरकार खेलों को लेकर नई दृष्टि और रणनीति के साथ आगे बढ़ रही है। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने राज्य के खिलाड़ियों को निरंतर उच्च स्तरीय प्रशिक्षण और सुविधाएं उपलब्ध कराने के लिए राष्ट्रीय खेलों के दौरान निर्मित और उन्नत किए गए खेल ढांचे का प्रभावी उपयोग सुनिश्चित करने हेतु मुख्य सचिव को शीघ्र कार्ययोजना तैयार करने और उस पर तेजी से अमल करने के निर्देश दिए हैं।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि 38वें राष्ट्रीय खेल केवल एक आयोजन नहीं थे, बल्कि यह उत्तराखंड की खेल यात्रा में ऐतिहासिक मोड़ सिद्ध हुए हैं। पहली बार राज्य ने 100 से अधिक पदक जीतकर पदक तालिका में सातवां स्थान प्राप्त किया और अपने प्रदर्शन से पूरे देश का ध्यान आकर्षित किया। उन्होंने कहा कि “खेलों के प्रति सरकार की प्रतिबद्धता और खिलाड़ियों की मेहनत ने मिलकर यह असाधारण उपलब्धि संभव बनाई है।”
लिगेसी प्लान: खेल ढांचे का बेहतर और स्थायी उपयोग
राष्ट्रीय खेलों के आयोजन के लिए तैयार की गई अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर की सुविधाएं अब राज्य के खिलाड़ियों के लिए प्रशिक्षण केंद्र के रूप में उपयोग होंगी। देहरादून के महाराणा प्रताप स्पोर्ट्स कॉलेज और हल्द्वानी के इंदिरा गांधी स्पोर्ट्स कॉम्प्लेक्स को आधुनिक सुविधाओं से युक्त किया गया है। इसके साथ ही राज्य के आठ शहरों में 23 खेल अकादमियों की स्थापना की योजना भी लिगेसी प्लान का हिस्सा है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने स्पष्ट किया कि खेल ढांचे को निष्क्रिय नहीं रहने दिया जाएगा, बल्कि इसका अधिकतम उपयोग किया जाएगा ताकि राज्य के युवा प्रतिभाओं को अपने घर के पास ही उच्च स्तरीय प्रशिक्षण मिल सके।
नई खेल नीति से खिलाड़ियों का मनोबल बढ़ा
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि वर्ष 2021 में लागू नई खेल नीति के सकारात्मक परिणाम दिखने लगे हैं। इसमें खिलाड़ियों को उनकी उपलब्धियों के अनुसार आकर्षक प्रोत्साहन राशि, सरकारी नौकरी, छात्रवृत्तियां और सम्मान देने का प्रावधान किया गया है। ओलंपिक स्तर के पदक विजेताओं को दो करोड़ रुपये तक की राशि देने की घोषणा से खिलाड़ियों में नया उत्साह आया है।
खेल विश्वविद्यालय का निर्माण – दूरदृष्टि से लिया गया फैसला
हल्द्वानी में बनने वाला खेल विश्वविद्यालय राज्य की खेल संस्कृति को संस्थागत रूप देगा। यह न केवल प्रशिक्षण और रिसर्च का केंद्र बनेगा, बल्कि कोचिंग, खेल विज्ञान, फिजियोथेरेपी, मैनेजमेंट आदि में भी युवाओं को अवसर प्रदान करेगा।
