देहरादून 07 अप्रैल। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने 14 अप्रैल को प्रस्तावित प्रधानमंत्री के उत्तराखंड आगमन और दिल्ली–देहरादून इकोनॉमिक कॉरिडोर (दिल्ली–देहरादून एक्सप्रेसवे) के शुभारम्भ कार्यक्रम की तैयारियों को लेकर मुख्यमंत्री आवास में उच्चस्तरीय बैठक की। मुख्यमंत्री ने अधिकारियों को कार्यक्रम को भव्य और जनभागीदारी से सफल बनाने के निर्देश दिए।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि यह अवसर राज्य के लिए अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण और ऐतिहासिक है। उन्होंने सभी विभागों को समन्वय के साथ कार्य करते हुए कार्यक्रम की रूपरेखा को आकर्षक और सुव्यवस्थित बनाने के निर्देश दिए, ताकि यह आयोजन जन-उत्सव का रूप ले सके।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि दिल्ली–देहरादून इकोनॉमिक कॉरिडोर राज्य के विकास को नई दिशा देने वाली महत्वपूर्ण परियोजना है। इसके शुरू होने से दिल्ली और देहरादून के बीच यात्रा समय में उल्लेखनीय कमी आएगी, जिससे पर्यटन को बढ़ावा मिलेगा। इसके साथ ही औद्योगिक और व्यावसायिक गतिविधियों में वृद्धि होगी तथा युवाओं के लिए रोजगार के नए अवसर भी सृजित होंगे।

उन्होंने कहा कि लंबे समय से प्रतीक्षित इस परियोजना का शुभारम्भ उत्तराखंड के विकास के इतिहास में एक स्वर्णिम अध्याय साबित होगा और प्रदेश को राष्ट्रीय विकास की मुख्यधारा में और मजबूत करेगा।

बैठक में राज्यसभा सांसद महेंद्र भट्ट, सचिव शैलेश बगौली, आयुक्त विनय शंकर पांडे, जिलाधिकारी देहरादून सविन बंसल, वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक देहरादून, अपर सचिव बंशीधर तिवारी सहित अन्य वरिष्ठ अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे।
