मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने मंगलवार को मॉल ऑफ देहरादून में बहुचर्चित फिल्म ‘द केरला स्टोरी 2’ देखी। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने कहा कि यह फिल्म समाज में घटित हो रही संवेदनशील घटनाओं को उजागर करते हुए जागरूकता का एक सशक्त माध्यम है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य सरकार महिलाओं की सुरक्षा, सामाजिक समरसता और जनसंख्या संतुलन को लेकर पूरी तरह प्रतिबद्ध है। उन्होंने कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड देश का पहला राज्य बना है जिसने समान नागरिक संहिता (UCC) लागू कर एक ऐतिहासिक पहल की है, जो समाज में समानता और न्याय सुनिश्चित करने की दिशा में मील का पत्थर साबित होगी।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य में सख्त धर्मांतरण विरोधी कानून लागू किया गया है, जिससे अवैध और जबरन धर्मांतरण की घटनाओं पर प्रभावी रोक लगी है। उन्होंने कहा कि ऐसे कानून समाज में पारदर्शिता, सुरक्षा और विश्वास को मजबूत करते हैं।
उन्होंने स्पष्ट किया कि सरकार का उद्देश्य किसी विशेष वर्ग के खिलाफ नहीं, बल्कि सभी नागरिकों के अधिकारों की रक्षा करना है। मुख्यमंत्री ने युवाओं से आह्वान किया कि वे जागरूक रहें और समाज में सकारात्मक बदलाव के लिए अपनी भूमिका निभाएं।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि इस प्रकार की फिल्में समाज को सोचने और समझने का अवसर देती हैं और सरकार ऐसे हर सकारात्मक प्रयास का समर्थन करती है।
