डीएम सविन बंसल के निर्देशन में 9 शिविरों में 3,447 दिव्यांग व वरिष्ठजनों को निःशुल्क सहायक उपकरण वितरित…

देहरादून, 25 फरवरी । जिलाधिकारी सविन बंसल के निर्देशन में समाज कल्याण विभाग, देहरादून द्वारा वरिष्ठ नागरिकों एवं दिव्यांगजनों को सहायक उपकरण उपलब्ध कराने के उद्देश्य से जनपद स्तर पर विशेष शिविरों का आयोजन किया गया। ये शिविर सामाजिक न्याय एवं अधिकारिता मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार द्वारा संचालित एडिप योजना एवं राष्ट्रीय वयोश्री योजना के अंतर्गत आयोजित किए गए।

राजधानी देहरादून में जिला प्रशासन एवं समाज कल्याण विभाग के तत्वावधान में सरदार महिपाल राजेंद्र जनजातीय (पीजी) सहिया, कालसी में आयोजित वितरण शिविर के समापन अवसर पर 657 लाभार्थियों को निःशुल्क सहायक उपकरण प्रदान किए गए।

जनपद की छह विकासखंडों, नगर पालिका और नगर निगम क्षेत्रों में आयोजित कुल 9 शिविरों के माध्यम से 3,447 दिव्यांगजनों एवं वरिष्ठ नागरिकों को बैसाखी, ट्राइसाइकिल, छड़ी, व्हीलचेयर, कृत्रिम अंग, वॉकर, कमोड चेयर, कमर बेल्ट एवं श्रवण यंत्र सहित विभिन्न सहायक उपकरण वितरित किए गए। विकासखंड रायपुर में 297, सहसपुर में 693, विकासनगर में 103, डोईवाला में 709, नगर पालिका मसूरी में 241, नगर निगम ऋषिकेश में 433, कालसी सहिया में 657, लाखामंडल में 107 तथा त्यूणी एवं कनासर में 237 लाभार्थियों को उपकरण उपलब्ध कराए गए।

जिलाधिकारी के मार्गदर्शन में संचालित इन शिविरों का उद्देश्य आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर दिव्यांगजनों एवं वरिष्ठ नागरिकों को सहारा प्रदान करने के साथ-साथ उन्हें आत्मनिर्भर बनाना है। सरकार द्वारा उपलब्ध कराए गए सहायक उपकरण उनके दैनिक जीवन को सुगम बनाने के साथ ही उनकी गतिशीलता और आत्मविश्वास में वृद्धि करेंगे।

सहायक उपकरण प्राप्त करने वाले लाभार्थियों ने सरकार की इस पहल की सराहना करते हुए जिला प्रशासन एवं समाज कल्याण विभाग के प्रति आभार व्यक्त किया।

वितरण शिविर में बीडीओ कालसी जगत सिंह, सरदार महिपाल राजेंद्र जनजातीय (पीजी) सहिया के प्रबंधक अनिल तोमर, सहायक समाज कल्याण अधिकारी खजान सिंह, डीडीआरसी देहरादून से कपिल पुनिया सहित अन्य गणमान्य व्यक्ति उपस्थित रहे।

समाज कल्याण अधिकारी दीपांकर घिल्डियाल ने बताया कि जिला प्रशासन के मार्गदर्शन में मात्र 30 दिनों के भीतर पात्र दिव्यांगजनों एवं वरिष्ठ नागरिकों को निःशुल्क सहायक उपकरण वितरित किए गए। उन्होंने जानकारी दी कि देहरादून स्थित प्रधानमंत्री दिव्याशा केंद्र में सप्ताह के सातों दिन सहायक उपकरण वितरित किए जाते हैं, जिसके लिए पात्र लाभार्थियों को मासिक आय प्रमाण पत्र तथा ग्राम प्रधान या पार्षद से प्रमाणित दस्तावेज प्रस्तुत करना अनिवार्य है।
