राष्ट्रीय स्वास्थ्य मिशन के अंतर्गत दिनांक 03 दिसंबर 2025 को आयोजित साक्षात्कार के पश्चात एनेस्थेटिस्ट, प्रसूति एवं स्त्री रोग विशेषज्ञ तथा बाल रोग विशेषज्ञ पदों पर चयनित चिकित्सकों को सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र (CHC) और उप जिला चिकित्सालय (SDH) में तैनात किया गया है। इन नियुक्तियों से मातृ-शिशु स्वास्थ्य, शल्य चिकित्सा सेवाओं और आपातकालीन उपचार सुविधाओं को मजबूती मिलने की उम्मीद है।

अल्मोड़ा जिले के चौखुटिया सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र में एनेस्थेटिस्ट डॉ. आर. हेमचंद्रन, प्रसूति एवं स्त्री रोग विशेषज्ञ डॉ. देविका खत्री तथा बाल रोग विशेषज्ञ डॉ. अनंत गुप्ता की तैनाती की गई है। इससे इस क्षेत्र में सर्जरी, प्रसव सेवाएं एवं नवजात शिशु उपचार की सुविधाएं सुदृढ़ होंगी।

चमोली जिले के गैरसैंण स्थित उप जिला चिकित्सालय में एनेस्थेटिस्ट डॉ. विशाल प्रताप सिंह और प्रसूति एवं स्त्री रोग विशेषज्ञ डॉ. शिल्पा भानुदास मुरकुटे को तैनात किया गया है, जिससे स्थानीय महिलाओं और गर्भवती माताओं को विशेषज्ञ सेवाओं के लिए अब दूर नहीं जाना पड़ेगा।

पौड़ी गढ़वाल जिले के बीरोंखाल सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र में प्रसूति एवं स्त्री रोग विशेषज्ञ डॉ. ममता थपलियाल की तैनाती की गई है। वहीं पिथौरागढ़ जिले के डीडीहाट सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र में बाल रोग विशेषज्ञ डॉ. किशन सिंह महर अपनी सेवाएं देंगे।
इन सभी नियुक्तियों को प्रारंभिक रूप से 11 माह की अवधि के लिए संविदा आधार पर किया गया है, जिसे कार्य निष्पादन मूल्यांकन के आधार पर आगे बढ़ाया जा सकता है। चयनित चिकित्सकों को निर्धारित समयावधि में संबंधित मुख्य चिकित्सा अधिकारी के कार्यालय में कार्यभार ग्रहण करना होगा।

*इस संबंध में स्वास्थ्य सचिव डॉ. आर. राजेश कुमार ने कहा कि* राज्य सरकार का प्राथमिक उद्देश्य यह है कि पर्वतीय और सीमांत क्षेत्रों में रहने वाले नागरिकों को भी गुणवत्तापूर्ण और विशेषज्ञ स्वास्थ्य सेवाएं स्थानीय स्तर पर उपलब्ध हो सकें। उन्होंने कहा कि इन तैनातियों से न केवल मातृ एवं शिशु मृत्यु दर में कमी आएगी, बल्कि आपातकालीन एवं रेफरल सेवाओं पर भी सकारात्मक प्रभाव पड़ेगा।

स्वास्थ्य सचिव डॉ आर राजेश कुमार ने यह भी स्पष्ट किया कि राष्ट्रीय स्वास्थ्य मिशन के तहत स्वास्थ्य ढांचे को मजबूत करने की दिशा में सरकार निरंतर प्रयासरत है और आवश्यकता पड़ने पर आगे भी विशेषज्ञ चिकित्सकों की नियुक्ति की जाएगी। उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार जनहित को सर्वोपरि रखते हुए स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं की पहुंच हर नागरिक तक सुनिश्चित करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है। उल्लेखनीय है कि इन नियुक्तियों से राज्य के दूरस्थ इलाकों में लंबे समय से चली आ रही विशेषज्ञ डॉक्टरों की कमी को काफी हद तक दूर किया जा सकेगा, जिससे आम जनता को बेहतर, सुलभ और समयबद्ध स्वास्थ्य सेवाएं प्राप्त होंगी।
