एक दिवसीय जिला स्तरीय प्रशिक्षण कार्यशाला का आयोजन

रुद्रप्रयाग : बृहस्पतिवार को विकास भवन सभागार में मुख्य विकास अधिकारी राजेंद्र सिंह रावत की अध्यक्षता में लघु सिंचाई विभाग द्वारा आयोजित सातवीं लघु सिंचाई, द्वितीय जल निकाय, प्रथम वृहद एवं मध्यम सिंचाई तथा प्रथम स्प्रिंग जनगणना के संबंध में एक दिवसीय जिला स्तरीय प्रशिक्षण कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया गया।

कार्यशाला में बताया गया कि संगणना का उद्देश्य जिले में उपलब्ध लघु, मध्यम एवं वृहद सिंचाई संरचनाओं, विभिन्न जल निकायों तथा प्राकृतिक जल स्रोतों (स्प्रिंग्स) का सटीक, अद्यतन एवं विश्वसनीय डाटा तैयार किया जाना है।

मुख्य विकास अधिकारी ने कहा कि संगणना कार्य शासन की एक महत्वपूर्ण प्रक्रिया है, जिससे जिले में उपलब्ध जल संसाधनों की वास्तविक स्थिति सामने आती है। उन्होंने कहा कि इससे जल संरक्षण, सिंचाई सुविधाओं के विस्तार तथा कृषि विकास से जुड़ी योजनाओं का सशक्तिकरण होगा। उन्होंने सभी संबंधित अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि सर्वेक्षण कार्य विभागीय समन्वय के साथ समयबद्ध, पारदर्शी एवं गुणवत्ता के साथ पूर्ण किया जाय।

उन्होंने कहा कि स्प्रिंग संगणना से प्राप्त आंकड़ों के आधार पर सूखते जलस्रोतों के संरक्षण एवं पुनर्जीवन के लिए ठोस कार्ययोजना तैयार की जाएगी। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि सातवीं लघु सिंचाई संगणना, कृषि क्षेत्र में जल उपयोग, सिंचाई क्षमता, जल उपलब्धता एवं भविष्य के संसाधन प्रबंधन का सटीक आकलन करने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाती है।
