देहरादून – 26 मई 2025: देश की रक्षा करने वाले बहादुर सैनिकों के प्रति अपना अटूट लगाव दोहराते हुए, सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र में देश के अग्रणी बैंकों में से एक, पंजाब नेशनल बैंक (पीएनबी) ने अपनी रक्षक प्लस योजना के तहत शहीद सूबेदार मेजर पवन कुमार के परिवार को ₹1.10 करोड़ की वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान की। यह सभी सेवारत सैन्य कर्मियों एवं संबंधित सेवाओं के लोगों के लिए सैलरी अकाउंट स्कीम है।
यह राशि शहीद की पत्नी श्रीमती सुषमा देवी को पीएनबी धर्मशाला के सर्किल हेड श्री संजय धर ने सौंपी। इस राशि में पीएआईएस बीमा योजना के तहत दी जाने वाली एक करोड़ की राशि एवं सीमा पार होने वाली गोलीबारी में मृत्यु की दशा में पीएआई कवर की 10 लाख रुपए की अतिरिक्त राशि शामिल है।
इस अवसर पर बोलते हुए, पीएनबी के कार्यकारी निदेशक श्री विभु प्रसाद महापात्रा ने कहा, “हमारे सैनिकों द्वारा दिखाया गया साहस और समर्पण हमारे राष्ट्र की सुरक्षा की रीढ़ है। पीएनबी में, हम उनके परिवारों को समय पर वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान करके उनकी विरासत का सम्मान करने में गर्व महसूस करते हैं। यह कदम हमारे रक्षा कर्मियों और उनके प्रियजनों के साथ हमेशा खड़े रहने के हमारे संकल्प की पुष्टि करता है।”
पीएनबी की रक्षक प्लस योजना मृत्यु के मामले में ₹1 करोड़ का व्यक्तिगत दुर्घटना बीमा और पूर्ण स्थायी विकलांगता के साथ-साथ मृत्यु की स्थिति में ₹1.5 करोड़ का हवाई दुर्घटना कवरेज प्रदान करती है। इस योजना में आंशिक विकलांगता कवरेज और वर्दीधारियों की जरूरतों के मुताबिक व्यापक लाभ शामिल हैं।
राष्ट्रीय नायकों का सम्मान करने की बैंक की प्रतिबद्धता के अनुरूप, पीएनबी शोक संतप्त खाताधारी परिवारों को समय पर वित्तीय सहायता सुनिश्चित करता है।
