उत्तराखंड। बीते दो दिनों से उत्तराखंड में बारिश ने तांडव मचाया हुआ है। लगातार हो रही बारिश से समूचे प्रदेश का जीवन अस्त व्यस्त हो चुका है। जगहों जगहों पर सड़कें टूट रही है, नदियों में अनुमान से ज्यादा जल स्तर बढ़ चुका है, प्रशासन द्वारा लगातार लोगों को सावधान रहने के लिए अलर्ट जारी किया जा रहा है।

नदी किनारे बसे हुए लोगों की जान कलेजे से मुंह को आई हुई है। जाते जाते मानसून की बारिश ने कई रिकॉर्ड तोड़ दिए है, सबसे ज्यादा बारिश प्रदेश के कुमाऊं क्षेत्र में हुई है लिहाजा नुकसान भी ज्यादा हुआ है। मौसम विभाग ने शनिवार को भी बारिश का येलो अलर्ट जारी कर दिया है। मौसम विभाग के अनुसार शनिवार को पिछले दो दिन से कम बारिश हो सकती है लेकिन पहाड़ों में लगातार झमाझम बारिश होगी।

इन जिलों में हो सकती है भारी बारिश

मौसम विभाग के अनुसार शनिवार को प्रदेश के कुमाऊं क्षेत्र में भारी बारिश होने के ज्यादा आसार है। कुमाऊं के 5 जिलों में चंपावत, अल्मोड़ा, पिथौरागढ़, बागेश्वर , नैनीताल, उधम सिंह नगर गरज-चमक के साथ तेज बारिश की संभावना है। इन सभी पांच जिलों में कहीं कहीं वर्षा के तीव्र दौर का येलो अलर्ट जारी किया गया है। वहीं देहरादून, उत्तरकाशी, पौड़ी गढ़वाल सहित अन्य जिलों में हल्की से मध्यम बारिश की संभावना जताई गई है।

मौसम विज्ञान केंद्र की चेतावनी को देखते हुए बच्चों की सुरक्षा की दृष्टि से शनिवार 14 सितंबर को राज्य के नैनीताल, चंपावत, पिथौरागढ़, अल्मोड़ा, चमोली और उत्तरकाशी जिले में कक्षा 1 से लेकर 12 तक के स्कूल और आंगनबाड़ी केंद्रों में एक दिवसीय अवकाश घोषित किया गया है।
