मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी के नेतृत्व में जनपद चम्पावत को आदर्श जनपद बनाने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण कदम उठाया गया है। 15वें वित्त आयोग के अंतर्गत वित्तीय वर्ष 2025-26 के लिए जनपद की त्रिस्तरीय पंचायत व्यवस्था को सुदृढ़ करने हेतु लगभग ₹11.50 करोड़ की धनराशि विभिन्न मदों में आवंटित की गई है।

जिलाधिकारी मनीष कुमार ने बताया कि ग्राम पंचायत, क्षेत्र पंचायत और जिला पंचायत—तीनों स्तरों पर विकास कार्यों को गति देने के लिए यह अनुदान जारी किया गया है। इससे ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में बुनियादी सुविधाओं का विस्तार और विकास योजनाओं के प्रभावी क्रियान्वयन में मदद मिलेगी।

जिला पंचायत राज अधिकारी महेश कुमार ने जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि जिला पंचायत चम्पावत को अनटाइड ग्रांट के रूप में कुल ₹97.04 लाख की धनराशि आवंटित की गई है, जिसे दो किश्तों में ₹48.52-₹48.52 लाख के रूप में जारी किया गया है। इसके अतिरिक्त टाइड ग्रांट की प्रथम किश्त के तहत ₹72.79 लाख की धनराशि भी उपलब्ध कराई गई है।

क्षेत्र पंचायतों के लिए अनटाइड ग्रांट के तहत कुल ₹70.22 लाख आवंटित किए गए हैं। इसमें चम्पावत विकास खंड को ₹26.26 लाख, लोहाघाट को ₹13.04 लाख, बाराकोट को ₹12.18 लाख तथा पाटी विकास खंड को ₹18.74 लाख प्राप्त हुए हैं। वहीं टाइड ग्रांट की प्रथम किश्त के रूप में कुल ₹52.68 लाख जारी किए गए हैं, जिसमें चम्पावत को ₹19.66 लाख, पाटी को ₹14.07 लाख, लोहाघाट को ₹9.78 लाख तथा बाराकोट को ₹9.17 लाख आवंटित हुए हैं।

ग्राम पंचायतों के विकास कार्यों के लिए भी पर्याप्त धनराशि स्वीकृत की गई है। टाइड ग्रांट के अंतर्गत ₹3.61 करोड़ की प्रथम किश्त जारी की गई है, जिसमें चम्पावत ब्लॉक को ₹1.38 करोड़ तथा पाटी ब्लॉक को लगभग ₹1 करोड़ की धनराशि प्राप्त हुई है। इसके अतिरिक्त अनटाइड ग्रांट के रूप में कुल ₹4.96 करोड़ की धनराशि भी आवंटित की गई है, जिसमें प्रथम और द्वितीय किश्त शामिल हैं।

जिलाधिकारी ने संबंधित अधिकारियों को निर्देशित किया है कि आवंटित धनराशि का उपयोग निर्धारित मानकों के अनुरूप समयबद्ध तरीके से किया जाए तथा विकास कार्यों की नियमित प्रगति रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत की जाए।

उन्होंने कहा कि इस वित्तीय सहयोग से जनपद के ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में आधारभूत सुविधाओं का विस्तार होगा और विकास योजनाओं को नई गति मिलेगी।
